    BSOD DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION happens randomly

Hi this has been happening to me every time I use windows 8 and has never happened to me in windows 7.
    I have a:
    XFX nForce 790i Ultra Mobo
    Intel Q6600 Core 2 Quad
    8GB Patriot Viper DDR3 Ram (2x4GB)
    Nvidia 8600GTS Video Card
Asus Xonar Essence STX Sound Card
    Haupaugge 1850 TV Tuner
    OCZ Agility 3 240GB SSD
    Samsung 750 SATA HD

I hope someone can help me out and analyze my minidump files and help me figure out whats wrong. Thank you!

Hi there. Remove Avast! in safe mode with tool from them, in safe mode. Reboot, then set Windows Defender and Windows Firewall services to Automatic. Start them.

    cmudaxp cmudaxp.sys Tue Nov 18 05:09:34 2008 (4922945E)

Do those things in any order you want. If they stop happening (as if before Avast! removal to suppose) - then you can keep Avast installed instead, but it is the most likely culprit here. Cmudaxp is a very close 2nd most likely.

Okay so I uninstalled Avast using its own tool in safe mode.

As for those two files I believe they are for my Hauppauge tv tuner and Asus Sound card and I've updated them to 2011 drivers, though I don't think that there are drivers specifically for windows 8 yet.

Will post further if the BSOD comes back. Thank you so much for your help and quick reply!
