Hi guys,
My windows 8 consumer preview has crashed and gives me the 'unmountable-boot-volume' error. Problem is, I had enabled the fast boot option on my machine using the Toshiba hardware utility, so now i can not access the bios menu and boot from CD/DVD drive as i would have preferred. i cannot access my hard drive and I cannot boot from an external source. Is this the end for me? Please help.

Ok guys, I solved the bios menu issue by removing the the battery on the mother board and leaving it out for about 20 minutes. That reset the all Bios settings back to default and the boot options are now accessible. I have tried booting from the CD drive with no luck however, the Unmountable Boot Volume error still exists :(. Some help will be much appreciated.
Thanks

ok, so we are supposed to use the SF Diagnostic tool to report our BSOD woes...that is for those who can at least access their systems after the BSOD. What about unlucky us whose systems went down with a BSOD and have never been able to access the logon environment after that?
