My sistem crashes when I play: YT videos, windows games(Fruit ninja)...with the same BSOD error WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR.
I have a dual boot with with Windows 7, and after this error shows I have to do a hard reset and if I login in W7 a disk checking is scheduled on all my partitions(I let the sistem check all drives no problems found) :|....never had one single BSOD on W7 till now!
So I started investigating possible causes: Nivida, Realtek etc drivers.....hardware problems: cpu, memory, hard drive...ran orthos, memtest, hd tune....no problems found :|....software I only have ccleaner and winamp installed.
My stupid curiosity to test Windows 8!

STOP 0x124 is a hardware error caused by a possible defect in one of your hardware components

1.) Update your BIOS
2.) Verify that nothing is overclocked

Run Prime95 to test your CPU. Carefully the instructions in this tutorial: CPU - Stress Test with Prime95. Run 3 separate tests, one on each of the settings (Blend, Small FFTs, Large FFTs). Post back with your results.
Note that this test may overheat the CPU, ensure proper cooling.

I already did all those tests!...I have the latest version of bios since 2010, nothing is overclocked, temps are good!....It's 100% a Windows 8 problem, I remember I had the same BSOD since the first version of w8(developer preview) but then it was to ugly to bother with it and I removed it....I know my hardware, I'm not a newbie.:p

hmm....I think I found the problem!....It's one of intel power saving features: C1E, Intel SpeedStep or Intel C-State.....I'll come back after I make more tests!

Yes no more BSOD!!:D...the problem was Intel C-State:shock:
Intel C-State - Disabled

Was the setting disabled, and you enabled it, or was it enabled, and you disabled it?

Thanks in advance!
