Hey,
(This thread is also post somewhere else, as I am not sure which site could help me better, forgive me for that!)
For a start: Zip file attached. There was also a text VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (atikmpag.sys) on the BSOD itself, so I feel like it's related to a GPU (using a HP ENVY m6-1253eo laptop with AMD HD Radeon 7670M).
My PC was acting weird at some points, where games' graphics crash and lead to "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" popup. After shutting down the game, normally using the computer was okay and had no problems in it. Though, after some time, I got a BSOD and eventually caused PC to loop startup -> desktop -> BSOD -> repeat, so it wasn't just a problem during gaming.
So far, I've tried a repair installation for Windows 8.1, after that I was able to access the desktop but after a while, a BSOD happened again (when the GPU shows in Device Manager). However, before the repair installation, I wasn't even able to get to the "Welcome" screen - a BSOD happened immediatelly after the HP logo went off the screen after pressing the start button, so maybe that's progress?
Disabling the GPU through Device Manager helps to avoid the BSOD, but after Windows auto-detects the GPU, screen starts flickering and then causes BSOD. Even though I am sure my drivers are up-to-date (I have checked that every now and then), I also tried checking if the drivers can be updated through safe mode, but AMD's program is not recognizing my GPU now.
Even though I have my own thoughts that the GPU might be dead, I am still hoping to be able to recover it by some means. Please, ask any further questions if needed - I'll do my best trying to answer!
