blank screen after long hibernation

I am not sure if this is the right place to create this topic, however I noticed this is the BSOD and debugging segment of the forum, this isn't a BSOD problem but I believe it qualifies as a bug problem. I am having a problem with my HP envy laptop (Windows 8.1 OS), whenever I hibernate my laptop for a long time (7-8hrs) and I try to start up again, the screen is stuck on a blank screen. The laptop starts up BUT the screen display remains blank, I would have to completely turn off the system using the power button and the start it up again for it to display. I started having this problem about 4days ago, I am not sure what the problem is but I would really appreciate some suggestions on how to resolve this issue.

edit: I have followed the BSOD post instructions here
https://www.eightforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging/10685-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html, I have attached a copy of my report to this post.

Try to upload it again or run the tool again, it appears that something went wrong as the size is incorrect.

Please run the following command in an admin command prompt.
Code:
md "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\CollectedFiles"&wmic /output:"%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\CollectedFiles\hotfix.txt" qfe list full /format:table&copy %SystemRoot%\minidump\*.dmp "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\CollectedFiles\"&type %SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts >> "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\CollectedFiles\hosts.txt"&systeminfo > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\CollectedFiles\systeminfo.tmp"&findstr /v "Owner." It creates a new folder on your desktop called 'CollectedFiles' which should contain several files:
  • hotfix.txt,
  • *.dmp,
  • hosts.txt,
  • systeminfo.txt,
  • drivers.txt,
  • msinfo32.nfo,
  • eventlog.txt,
  • uninstall.txt,
  • installed.txt,
  • services.txt,
  • driver_status.txt,
  • inactive_services_status.txt,
  • all_services_status.txt,
Right click the folder, select 'send to' and click 'zip (compressed) folder'. Upload the zip.

If any problem occurs whilst collecting the files using the above command, please let me know.
