BSOD Error - IRQL Not Less or Equal

Hi guys, so im new at this and i hope i can explain my problem! :rolleyes:

Well , my pc is kinda old, it haves only 4 gb of ram, 2.00 ghz cpu (Intel Core 2 Duo) , and an ATI graphic card. But it is good for what i play nowadays.

I played Minecraft, League of Legends, and other games without any problems in this computer, until 5 days ago. I was playing League of Legends and my pc turned black and the bsod error appeard: "IRQL Not Less or Equal". But, the difference of the other people crashes, is that when it is creating the dump file in the BSOD it just stop at "0%" and i need to turn off pc by clicking on power. So... i just dont have a dmp file (This happens all the time, it just stops at 0%, the pc breaks)

This happened the second time, so i decided to format the computer, and so i did. I formatted my pc and it went very well. I reinstalled the games and it happened AGAIN.

(I did install the lastest AMD graphic drivers, in my case its AMD Catalyst Control Center)

But, this time was different, it was just a black screen, the first 2 times were like this, and the pc just break in a black screen making me turning it off on the power button. But now i was playing Minecraft and the BSOD error happened again. Again - i dont have a dump file because the pc break's itself in BSOD.
(All of this happens playing games)

I saw in some webpage that it could be a Direct X problem, so im installing all the updates in the Windows Update.

What could it be? I really need help. This just happens when im playing a game!

Run HDTune to

  • scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
  • check the health,
  • benchmark.

It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
Let me know what the results are

  • of the error scan,
  • make a screenshot of the health of every hard drive and post the screenshots,
  • post screenshots with the benchmark of the
    • transfer rate,
    • access time,
    • burst rate,
    • cpu usage.

What Graphic Card do you have.
Is it an older Graphic Card also?
Than you need legacy drivers for ATI Radeon HD4000, Hd3000 and HD2000 series because AMD no longer supports drivers for windows 8.

The latest driver package supported on windows 8 is AMD Catalyst 13.1 driver package
Strangely if you follow the downloadlink in the above mentioned link you come back the general downloadpage where you can not find this driver.

But here you can download catalyst 13.1 driverpackage Legacy

So, i did those tests with the HDTune (Attachment "information")

There are the prints you requested too.

I did also the disk check and no errors were found too.

I was going to do the SeaTools test but the download page of the .iso is not working :/


I reinstalled as suggested the graphic driver, lets see if it does something!

Another update:

The suggestion to update to the old version the graphic card driver didnt work, it just happened again. But it was just a black screen. Thats actually strange because sometimes is a black screen and sometimes is a BSOD error.

Update!

It seems that ive found a mini dump file but it wasnt in the right location. I used Blue Screen View and here it is the "exe" that probably caused the BSOD error!

But.... what should i do now? I dont know and i'm afraid i can put this problem even worse if i do something.

Another thing that i noticed is that my temperatures are a little above the "normal". Could that be one of the reasons?

Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified to your system.
