Happened to me a couple of times, while playing Dota 2, the game stops and lines appear on the screen, after that it stops, and a message says "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered" appears multiple times.

After that, BSOD with the problem being VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR

Bought this laptop just 5 months ago, Dell Inspiron 15-5558

Hi MarshallTan,

Welcome to the 10forums.

This crash is related to the graphics.
Please uninstall everything of Nvidia using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from your manufacturer.

Are you using both your GPU's?

Thanks for the reply
Im using Nvidia for games and Intel 5500 for usual tasks
I will uninstall and reinstall the drivers and see if it works, I`ll come back if the problem is still there.

I am afraid that switching between GPU's could cause problems :(
This because the idea of it is bad implemented.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers like you said, and played with low settings, it went well (so far).
About the switching, there`s nothing I can do about it, right?

Sometimes you can.
If you can, you need to say in the settings to the 2nd GPU that it shouldn't run.
