It also crashes at other random times besides playing WoW. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Aimee,

    Welcome to the 8forums.

Please visit Windows Update and install every update available, it may take a couple of times to get them all.

The most recent dumps are pointing to memory problems
    Code:
    Probably caused by : memory_corruption

    RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

    Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Thank you. I installed the newest update for today. I have everything else installed. I will run the diagnostic test.

I am unable to run the tester. I crashed twice more. Once while playing and once while trying to restart so I could use the utility.
I will try again tomorrow with another flash drive or disk.

Both crashes are indicating memory problems,
    Code:
    PFN_LIST_CORRUPT (4e)
    MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (1a)
Of course, it could also be a driver causing this, but firt the RAM needs to be ruled out if possible.

OK. I tried doing a test through windows itself and it didn't work either. All I see is a blank screen a bit longer (a few min) before it restarts.

I'm borrowing a different flash drive today though so I'll get back with how that turns out. Thank you for the help so far.

The built-in feature is not as good as MemTest86+, that is why memtest86+ is recommended.

I understand that. I was just letting you know since I couldn't do that one either. I tried with another flash drive and also a disk neither one showed the tests. It did restart but the screen stayed blank. I believe it may have been running but I could not see it.

Please check your BIOS and make sure the RAM timing is set at 1 of the 4, if needed do this manually.

    • 1600 MHz
    • 1866 MHz
