    Driver power state failure BSOD

    Hello,
I have been getting a Driver power state failure bsod for about a week now. Some days it doesn't seem to occur that much while other its several times an hour. From googling it seems like the issue is either an out of date driver or my ram. I"ve run "whocrashed" and "bluescreenview" which point to

This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x14F9A0)
    Bugcheck code: 0x9F (0x3, 0xFFFFE00101519060, 0xFFFFD0018AB69960, 0xFFFFE00106234C10)

but I guess this isn't the actual driver (or ram) causing the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Hi jag213,

    Welcome to the 8forums.

    Please do the following:
    Open an admin command prompt
Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
When it finished reboot your system
Open again an admin command prompt
    Enter sfc/scannow again

If sfc/scannow doesn't say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation", please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

Please fill in your system specs
Please go to this site and download the tool. The tool will give you detailed information about your system specs, please fill in your system specs more completely.
How to fill in your system specs:

Thank you for replying. Here is the log file. It was too big for the attachment.

Please try sfc, reboot, sfc a few times.
It takes usually 4-5 times for sfc to solve it.

I have run the test 7 times now and keep getting "found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them".

Here are the updated logs file.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2A...ew?usp=sharing

I have removed 2 sticks of ram to see if that was the issue and I haven't gotten a bsod in several hours. I will let you know if this seemed to solve the problem.

Put that command in and also put the two sticks of ram back in. Maybe they were loose or dusty, i don't know but haven't bsod today. Hopefully the problem is solved.
