    Random BSOD Page_Fault_Nonpaged_Area No idea about cause


    Lately i have been getting the BSOD page fault in nonpaged area, im really unsure about the cause as it happens randomly, i have not noticed any pattern that triggers it but sometimes it can happen quite often. here is the file you guys asked for, hope it helps.

    Hi Strax,

    The crashes are caused by a driver from Kaspersky called klif.sys.
    Please remove Kaspersky using the uninstall instructions, open 'How to use the utility'.

    Also, does this mean I cant have the Kaspersky antivirus at all? or could I try re-installing it ?

    Start with removing first.
    If removing is done properly you could try to install again. Sometimes the cause is an outdated AV program.

    ok I am removing it asap. How will I be able to make sure everything was removed properly?

    If you can turn on windows defender you have removed Kaspersky properly.
    You can't turn on windows defender when there are some stuff (files, folders) left from another AV program, because windows thinks you're still using that AV.
