BSOD on Win8.1 every 5 min while using Chrome

Hi all,

So relieved to have found this forum. My Dell laptop suddenly started having BSOD a couple of days ago, at intervals as short as 5 minutes. It comes up as a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR.

I am mostly using Chrome but I don't think exclusively. I've uploaded the ZIP file.

Thank you for any help you can give me!

Hi peckhamrye25,

Welcome to the 8forums.
There is something I need you to do, please fill in your specs:
Click on user cp in the right side of the top of the page > my settings list on the left side on the page> 2nd from above.

The
WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR error mostly is caused by damaged hardware, or wrong/corrupted drivers.
Knowing the specs will make it easier to find the cause.
Also, make sure you're not overclocking anything.

Code:
CPUID: "Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4600U CPU @ 2.10GHz"
MaxSpeed: 2100
CurrentSpeed: [B]2694[/B]

Processor may be overclocked!
Expected Frequency: 2100
Actual Frequency: 2694
Overclock Ratio: [COLOR=red]1.28286[/COLOR]

Its good enough :)

Because this error is in most cases either driver or hardware please follow these instructions:
For the RAM please do the following
Download and run MemTest86+, How to test and diagnose your ram with MemTest86+ | Sevenforums.
Run MemTest86+ for at least 8 passes.
Suggested to do this overnight, because this test could take a while.

For testing the CPU please read the instructions of this site carefully.

Go to your BIOS and make sure the settings are set to default settings.
How to get into the BIOS: before windows loads (see attachment) press f2

Before this

Hi! I ran the Prime95 test for 16 hours with no errors (and interestingly did not experience a single BSOD for the duration). Exited the programme, and 10 minutes later had a BSOD :S Went into the BIOS now and as far as I can see everything's set to default. What should I do next?
