Solved BSOD Shutting Down Computer

Hi guys! I'm new here, so I apologize if I make any mistakes.

DM Log collector tool zip at the bottom of this post, sorry.

I have an Acer Aspire V 15 running Windows 8.1 (I didn't see an 8.1 forum, only 8 and 10) and, lately, I have a very strange problem. When I restart my computer, it just sits there with a black screen but the lights on my computer show it is still on. Not wanting to hurt my computer, and not knowing what to do, I just leave it there until about 10 - 20 minutes later it finally boots up, and, upon logging in, it tells me it crashed because of a problem.

To clear up, when you boot into 8.1 it will give you a message if your computer crashed saying it crashed and had to be restarted. I don't crash when I log in, it just tells me that I had a problem and the computer was restarted because of it and wants to send an error report. Sorry!

This problem doesn't occur if my computer goes to sleep.

I want to make sure my computer is okay and this problem is very frustrating. I'd really appreciate it if the people here could help me solve this problem! Thank you so so much in advance.

Might help to add that my Chrome started freaking out and the reason I restarted was because it kept saying Shockwave Flash was not responding no matter what website I went on. I uninstalled it and reinstalled, then normal Flash wouldn't work, had to reinstall that too, then Adobe AIR wouldn't pop up but said it was running in the processes, and thought to myself.. I haven't restarted my computer in a while, everything is messing up, maybe a restart would fix it. And that's why I restarted it.. but then this happened.

I ran WinDbg and it said this:
Probably caused by : ntoskrnl.exe ( nt+150ca0 )
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\ntoskrnl.exe, Win32 error 0n2

I don't know how to use WinDbg, I apologize if the information did not help.

Here is what the DM Log gave me:

Thank you very much!

If you need anything else that I forgot to add, or if I made a mistake, please tell me so I can fix this or provide what you need. Thank you!

The laptop is a Christmas gift and less than a year old. I'm not allowed to open it up and the places who fix computers around me are very corrupt, which is why I had to get a new computer for Christmas, hence why I ask here instead of somewhere else. I don't know
The cause of the crashes are
Qualcomm Atheros AR9485WB-EG Wireless Network Adapter driver
Realtek High Definition Audio Function driver

Please check your manufacturers site for update.
If there aren't any updates, try removing and reinstalling the drivers.

Also, if you are overclocking please stop.

I've never overclocked anything in my life.

I'll try to update my drivers and report back as quickly as I can on whether or not the issue is fixed, thank you very much!
--
My drivers say they're up to date, I'm really iffy on reinstalling my wireless adapter driver because I'm paranoid. I know I sound whiny, but is there anything else I could do to possibly fix it?

The sticker on my computer promotes "Turboboost" to boost my 1.7 GHz to 2.7 GHz, but I have never used it and don't even know what it is, shamefully. I thought it would be worth mentioning, though?

You could update the drivers from Realtek and https://www.qualcomm.com/contact (scroll down for product support), but its quiet risky because its possible that they're not compatible with your system and you get more BSOD's.
Thats why I recommend more to uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

The Turboboost boosts your CPU performance, but if not be cautious with a few things that could cause BSOD's.
The most important thing is the overheating, that the CPU gets way too hot and your cooling system doesn't provide enough cooling so your CPU gets damaged. I don't think it will happen, because I don't think the manufacturer would add it if your cooling system wasn't good enough, but every hardware component could get damaged.

Would it be worth mentioning that I had to bring it to a repair shop? Something in my computer might be water damaged or loose. Would it cause these kinds of problems?

And if something did happen and it is at 2.3 how would I get it back to normal?

And thank you so much for answering my questions, I really appreciate it.

Water damage could cause these problems depending on how much and where.
Something loose could also cause the same problems depending on what is loose.

You could get it back to normal by disactivating or uninstalling the turbobooster program.

By the way, do you know specifically what would have to be loose to cause the problems? I'm just curious, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to. And again, thank you.

Have you cleaned your laptop from the software that your manufacturer has pre-installed on your laptop?

My guess would be that your network card is a little bit loose and that some water has damaged your audio if it is indeed what you think.
The water doesn't have to be much, it just needs to be in the 'right' place to damage components.

Yeah, I did get rid of a few things. Some kept showing up as adware so I got rid of them out of fear. But they let me uninstall them normally, so.. I don't know if it could have done something.

Hmm, thank you for your answer! That's really interesting to know. If I bring it to a repair shop, could they fix it if it was water damaged or would I have to buy a new one?

I hope Speccy told you what you needed to know!
The laptop is a Christmas gift and less than a year old. I'm not allowed to open it up and the places who fix computers around me are very corrupt, which is why I had to get a new computer for Christmas, hence why I ask here instead of somewhere else. I don't know
If it is water damage they must replace it with a new one because else it only makes the damage worse to itself and other components when trying to repair it (which is pretty much impossible if you ask me).

Its best to get rid of all the software they have added, most of the users don't use it and so remove it.
Some are indeed adware, but they'll still be added because the company gets paid to do that.

Okay, I'll keep that in mind if I have to take it to a shop. And I will keep the other in mind as well. Thank you for all of your kind replies and help and for not being rude! :)

I don't have any more related questions, so should I mark this as solved? Again, thank you so much.

It would be the best if you mark this thread as solved when your problem indeed is solved ;)
