Hi guys,
I am new to the forum and here is my problem:
I have custom built a new PC recently:
i5-4590
16GB Kingston 1600MHz CL9 memory
MSI H97M-G43 MB
EVGA GTX 980
Corsair VS 650W 80+ PSU
Zalman Z11 Plus
1TB Toshiba HDD
Sandisk 128GB Ultra SSD
I had two instances of computer freezing. I couldn't even reset the system. I had to hold the power button to shut down and then restart again. I checked the minidump file from C:\Windows\Minidump but couldn't find anything. Is there any way I can find the error that caused the freezing of the PC? Any debugging options that I can use?
I really don't know how to analyze minidump files but I couldn't see any being created. I read elsewhere that Event Viewer/Log could also save these kinds of errors.
Any suggestions as to what I should do to find out the error causing this?
Notes:
The bios is up to date.
Windows is newly installed.
Games are running from D:\
Chipset, GPU, sound, etc. drivers are all up to date.
Just 4 hours ago, I played GTA 5 on ultra settings, nothing happened...It only occured once.
**Edit
Here is the DM Log collector Tool file:
Edit**
The freezing usually occurs when playing GTA V online.
