Hi, I just got on to my computer to find that the BSOD:
"Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info and then we'll restart for you. (0% complete)

If you'd like to know more, you can search online later for this error: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (fileinfo.sys)"

The problem is that this has been sitting at 0% for some time now (I do not know how long it has been like this, the computer was left to sleep overnight). I did wait 30 minutes and the value did not change. The computer has been making more noise than usual; I assume it's the disk? What do I do? Do I just wait?

Also, how might I prevent this error from happening again (if the computer ever manages to get past 0%)? I think this may be related to another problem I am having, which is occasional 100% disk usage without any noticeable culprit. This BSOD error seems to be related to something called a paging file, which I did change before in hopes of fixing the 100% disk problem.

Hi, I understand that I need to follow the BSOD posting instructions, but I can't download any DM log collector tool until I actually get out of the screen. I am currently unable to do anything with the computer until it finishes collecting error info and restarting, so that's the main problem here.

It has been nearly 1 hour from when I found out about the BSOD error. The value remains at 0%.

Well I decided to hold the power button until it turned off and turned it back on. The computer started up with 100% disk usage, so it was slow getting signed in and to the page to download the DM Log Collector Tool, but I eventually got it running and this is what it gave me:
