Win8RP crashes on startup after full shutdown.

I am really hoping that I am not the only one experiencing this problem. Also, I did not experience in the CP version. Ok, I have an HP DV7-4273us with the latest bios, which is 1 year old, and 2 Seagate hybrid harddrives.

I have Windows 7 Pro installed on the first one and Win8 RP installed on the second drive. Win8 is set as the default boot OS as well. What happens is that if I restart, no crashes. However, if I fully shutdown and then turn it on, 0xc000000E BSOD device could not be found immediately.

If I press F9, the computer will boot into windows 7. If I press F8, the machine stays at the BSOD. However, if I ctrl-alt-del, the computer will then boot into Windows 8. I think the problem may have something to do with the hybrid boot but I am not sure.

Any help would be appreciated. Oh, and the harddrive have the latest firmware already installed.

Try running Startup Repair with the Windows 8 installation DVD or create a System Repair disc by:
- Open the Run dialog by pressing the Win key and the R key at the same time.
- enter "%systemroot%\system32\recdisc.exe" (without the quotes) - in the CP I just entered recdisc.exe and it worked for me
- Click on the OK button to start the program.
