Have you checked for compatibility problems when you upgraded those components?

As i sayd in my original post, "im a noob" so im not really sure of what you are asking here? "compatibility" means they work toghether, right? So the compatibility between what? hardware and software? hardware and hardware? and if so, how?

ps: sorry im a scrub :/

pps: changed bios settings to "load optimized defaults" and doing the 2x1080p test now

When you upgrade your hardware, you should check if they work together yes. If they can't work together as normal you may get freezes, performance issues, bluescreens or other problems.
PCpartpicker is a site that helps you with compatibility issues by building your own pc.

After the hardware is compatible, then you can focus on the software.

Oh, okey. Posting this from phone, so ill do that as soon as i have time. The motherboard, cpu and 2 of the 4 ram chips i use came in a bundle, so i just asumed they would work well together, but this might not be the case?

Maybe they work well together as just those few components, but not with the rest of your pc.

Out for a walk with the dogs, but my pc was still running strong with no bsod at the 2h mark of the videos, so kinda looks like there might have been a problem with the bios afterall! Have any other tips on tests i can run to make sure the bsod problem is gone?

Have you done anything with your antivirus program?
One of the bsod's was pointing at your antivirus, could be a one time bsod, but still.

Ok, let us know if you have another bsod.

A little bit late, but I suspected a little bit a problem with your bios, because the settings don't change to the right settings automatically.
