Didn't see a post specific to my combination of problems so I apologize if it's a duplicate and I have missed it when combing through. Got three different blue screens since the beginning of June on a brand new laptop.
BSOD 1 - DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE: I did not see this one but I am sure this is when it happened: hit the power button, closed the lid, took a trip to the store, came back to a scorching laptop (as in 'do not touch without gloves, yo' kind of hot). Waited until the next day to start it up and see if it was alive. It has seemed fine thus far, if a little hot (but I wouldn't know, I didn't use it much before this BSOD as I'd just bought it).
BSOD 2 - DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE: Not doing much, just some internet browsing if I remember right.
BSOD 3 - IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL: Doing some resource-heavy stuff in Illustrator, Photoshop, and some coding. Everything seemed fine then I accidentally clicked some Windows 8 pre-installed start tab for travel. Thanks, useless pre-installed travel.. thing, whatever you are.
I've had this PC since June 2nd. Haven't done much to it, only installed my Creative Cloud suite programs, Steam, Spotify, and some code editing programs. I'm not too computer savvy when concerning non-web related things, so here is the laptop type and model number.. ASUS GL551JW-DS71. I don't know what all specs to include.
And finally, the dump file. Yes.. I named it Fancy Duck. It is a fancy little duck of a laptop. View attachment 62618
