Laptop freezes randomly Windows 8.1

Yes please. The problem persists, now even on windows 10. The freeze happens usually when I'm not touching the laptop, like watching youtube videos, or some movies (NOT idle), and when I close the lid (NOT set to sleep or shutdown when lid is closed). So its all in the same realm - when I'm not actively interacting with my laptop.

If the freezing is continuing even after the upgrade to Windows 10 (Did you do a clean install?) , there is a high chance that the problem is related to the hardware. Kindly follow the below instructions and upload the ZIP file with your next post (Even though you are not experiencing any BSODs) -
