I took a look at the 3rd party drivers present on your system and nothing looked suspicious. Furthermore, your MSINFO32 report shows that you are facing loads of application crashes. Also, according to the dump files, your system encountered a machine check exception so there are strong indications that this might be related to Hardware.

Kindly follow the below free hardware diagnostics and then report the result back with your next post. Also, during the Prime95 & Intel Burn Test, kindly take a note of the temperatures (Using CoreTemp) and then report them back -

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Hello BlueElvis,

I've gone through several tests in the past, which resulted in no indication of faulty hardware. But I will try out what you have listed again just to be sure...

I did however update my Dell Wireless 1703 driver with the latest updated package I could find. So far I haven't experienced any BSOD, but I want to keep on eye on it for a few days. If this issue is resolved because of that install package, I'll be sure to update the post to include how it was fixed.

Thanks for the reply and help!

Hi CaddyQuinn ^_^,

Yes, I remember you and your threads. But, don't worry, I will try my best to resolve this issue and bring in cavalry as well if I am not able to handle this ;)

Hey BlueElvis,

I received another BSOD while gaming today... I thought the issue was fixed, but unfortunately not. Attached is my Dump file:

also, I ran FURMARK and took a snap shot of my temps (also attached)...

Side information... I've fixed this issue in the past and didn't have BSOD's for awhile... had to be months I believe. Something must have happened, maybe a graphics card driver update or wifi driver update that put me back where I was in the past.

Appreciate the help.

As usual we are getting random exceptions.

What I find strange is that 3 of the temperature monitors of the system (According to the pic) are showing wrong information. One counter is showing temperature in negative which is not possible, the other two are showing temperature of 128 degree celsius which I cannot believe.

What values is CoreTemp (Which I suggested previously) showing? Is it also showing similar values?

As of now, see if you are able to reduce the occurrences of the BSOD by pointing a table fan directly at the CPU. I have called in the cavalry but he might be a bit late since he is having problems with his system.

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Oh and yea, thanks for the shoutout on Twitter!

The temps on HWMonitor are extreme - 128ºC!!!
Does the system feel hot to you?
Unplug the system from the wall, open the case, and CAREFULLY feel around inside (don't touch anything, just get close).
If it's 128ºC, you'll feel the heat radiating before you burn yourself.
Again, BE CAREFUL!!! You can get 2nd and 3rd degree burns if you're not careful (I burnt myself this way).

Ensure that you have all available Windows Updates. Many Windows Update failures in the WER section of MSINFO32.
Please post over in the Windows Updates & Activation forum if you continue to have problems with it.

The pattern of the dump files looks like hardware or low-level driver problems. I'm particularly concerned that sensors are reporting extremely high and extremely low temps at the same time. Please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
In particular, please be sure to run the Prime95 Blend test (also run the Small FFT's and Large FFT tests) along with the Intel CPU test.

Here's the canned speech about this pattern of errors:
Out of 5 memory dumps there were 4 different BSOD (aka STOP or BugCheck) error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things (the list is not in any sort of order):
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- dirt/dust/hair/fur/crud inside the case. Blow out the case/vents with canned air (DO NOT use an air compressor or vacuum as they can cause damage to the system)
- missing Windows Updates
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers), older systems, or even pirated systems
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

Please get a head start on the hardware diagnostics - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics

Your BIOS dates from 2014. The version number is A10. Update it if there is a newer version at the Dell support website for your system.

Interesting to note is the STOP 0x9C - Machine Check Exception error. This STOP error was deprecated when Vista came out. It was replaced by STOP 0x124.

USB audio is a known problem area when dealing with BSOD's. Please uninstall the software for your USB audio device and then physically remove the device from the system. Then test to see if the BSOD's continue. Feel free to reinstall the USB audio device (using the latest, Win8.1 compatible drivers) once you've finished testing.

Bluetooth drivers appear to date from 2012 to 2014. Older bluetooth drivers (Win8 versions) sometimes have BSOD problems with Win8.1 systems. Please be sure that you have the latest, Win8.1 compatible bluetooth drivers for your system.

If all of this doesn't nail down the problem, then try running Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Hello Bluelvis and Usasma,

First off thank you both for the detailed responses. I found the reason for the extremely high numbers, it was because HWMonitor had to be updated. Everything looked normal after the update. I will work on running the hardware tests again and give you folks a snap shot of the temps.

Tying this back with my previous posts about a year ago, I think I was having difficulties with my video card driver and bluetooth wifi driver. I remember solving this issue before in the past and went without a blue screen for a long time. I think that may be my area of focus for the problems, because I remember testing CPU and Memory pretty heavily. I have visited the Dell website several times to update my drivers and search for Windows updates each time I'm on my comp.

Should I go through this list of driver links too (over time)? I think it'd be smart to take this slow and steady and change one thing at a time. \

Just wanted to give you folks an update that the temps probably won't be an area of focus in the future because of out of date programs giving false numbers. I hope we can narrow down this problem together. My gut is saying it's wifi or video card driver install problems like last time.

Is there a good / trusted method for installing a driver? The method I used this last time (I believe) for the video driver was:

Download driver from Dell website
CC cleaner
Extract to Desktop
Uninstall Video Driver
Update Video Driver (select browse computer for latest driver update)
CC cleaner
Restart

Thanks again for all the help

-Stephen

Quite frankly, I believe that the days of those sort of driver problems are over.
Now I just suggest uninstalling and rebooting - then install the updated drivers.
It won't hurt to use CCleaner - but stay away from the registry cleaner.

Hello All,

So far I haven't had a BSOD in a 3-4 days... I'll keep an eye on it and report back if I come across another Blue screen...

As far as a solution for now, I think it was the driver for Radeon HD 7570 that was being picky along with the possibility that the Wifi driver was picky also...

Those are the only two things I worked on really and finally after choosing to let windows install the correct driver from a desktop full of different driver downloads (one from Dell, the other from AMD), I seem to be BSOD free for the time being.

I appreciate the help. If I run into another BSOD, I'll be back to report.

Received a BSOD today and it looks like it's blaming AMD Graphics driver?

Here's the dump files... let me know what you'd like from me next... Or I'll get started on the testing again.

Appreciate the help thus far.

Looks like hardware/low-level drivers, may have some networking involvement.
Bluetooth drivers date from before 8.1 - please update to the latest Bluetooth drivers
Update wired and wireless drivers (just in case).

Can't find any search results for iufqvt.sys - ?possibly malware?
Nor could I find it in the MSINFO32 report
Please scan the system in order to rule this out. Use something other than MalwareBytes (as it's in the dumps also).

Run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Hello USASMA and BlueElvis,

I have run the security scans and have only removed 'potentially unwanted applications'. I then ran verifier for around 7-8 BSOD's and have uploaded the dump files.

Please let me know if you'd like anymore information from me. Thanks!

Memory dumps point at video.

Update BIOS/UEFI (currently at version A10), it dates from 2014
Can't recall if I brought this up previously.

Update video drivers - yours date from 2013

If BSOD's continue after that, then I'd suggest trying another video card.

Thanks for the quick reply! I have the latest Bios - A10, I believe... and I can't find a later version for my system. That's good information though and I'll continue to look around.

I've updated my graphics driver about 5 times and have still been unsuccessful. I'll keep trying different methods and testing it out over the course of a few weeks. I'll do this before buying a new card because I want to make sure it's the card that is faulty.

Or I could have someone look at the system....

I'll report back on what I find. Thanks again!

Hello all,

Sorry for the delay.... I've still been receiving BSODs while gaming and one was particularly interesting. This blue screen, my computer crashed but froze the game. After a few minutes, the screen when to checkered, multi-colored pixels, and flashed a few times before turning into a smeared BSOD.

I have a new video card on the way so I can test the card. I will report my findings back to this thread for the viewers.

Thanks for all the help ya'll.
