BSOD whea_uncorrectable_error if i watch netflix on chrome

I recently upgraded my computer, new motherboard , CPU, GPU.

    Processor : Intel Core i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz
    Mobo : MSI Z97-G45 Gaming LGA 1150 Intel Z97
Gfx card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 970
    8 gigs of DDR3 ram

I can game for hours with no issues, League of legends, CS GO, WOW. After about 15-30 mins of Netflix while using Chrome i get a BSOD.

While poking around on this site I tried running the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool and my processor passed.

Hello Nicholi44, welcome to 8F. I've taken a look at your dumps and you're receiving 0x124s which are generic bugchecks that indicate a hardware fault. 0x124s very rarely give an indication as to what the problem is and that's the case here, the only thing we can recommend here is a series of stress and diagnostic tests to try and pinpoint the hardware that is causing the issue. Please follow the steps below to the letter and post the results for each, some of them may duplicate what you've already tried but please perform them again.

    Code:
    WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)
A fatal hardware error has occurred. Parameter 1 identifies the type of error
source that reported the error. Parameter 2 holds the address of the
WHEA_ERROR_RECORD structure that describes the error conditon.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000000000, Machine Check Exception
    Arg2: ffffe0003f763028, Address of the WHEA_ERROR_RECORD structure.
    Arg3: 00000000ba000000, High order 32-bits of the MCi_STATUS value.
    Arg4: 0000000052000402, Low order 32-bits of the MCi_STATUS value.

Apologies for the late response, life has been pretty busy the past week or so.

Is your CPU overclocked at all? And can you tell me what frequency your RAM was running at when performing the Prime95 test? Is the RAM now replaced?

    No worries, life comes first.

    New ram comes wed. Amazon.com: Kingston HyperX Savage 16GB Kit (2x8GB) 2400MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL11 DIMM XMP (HX324C11SRK2/16): Computers & Accessories
I didn't record the frequency during the test however I can run it again if needed.

And everything is running at stock speeds.

It's a possibility that the RAM is causing the Prime95 error, especially if the CPU is running at stock. I'd hold on until Wednesday then run Prime95 again with the new RAM installed. I'd have also recommended 1600MHz RAM for a stock clocked CPU, you'll get no extra benefit from 2400MHz RAM and it's possible it could cause instability. Try it anyway and we'll go from there.

    Hey,

I installed the new ram and redid the stress tests.. Both cpu and ram passed.

30 mins of netflix and bam BSOD.

Im beginning to wonder if it could possibly be something weird with win8.1 and HTML5?

    No.

It's most likely a motherboard or CPU hardware error. As most 0x124s are.

I've found as many 0x124s caused by failing hard drives and RAM as CPU, and very rarely found the motherboard to be the problem. In fact I've seen more 0x124s caused by Gigabyte crapware and Chrome than motherboards.
