BSOD when computer is left idle

Hi all,

It seems like every time I leave my computer inactive for a few hours, I'll return to a black screen saying something about trying to boot and failing. This comes after a BSOD which I've seen happen a few times but usually I just come back to the black screen.

Thanks in advance

EDIT: Just got a CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED BSOD, and found the black screen reads: "DISK BOOT FAILURE. INSTER SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER"

EDIT2: I ran sfc /scannow out of curiosity, and it tells me that Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. It then gave me a CBS.log and where to find it. Is this worth posting?

Have you had any BSODs since your last edits? Can you run the Log Collector tool again and upload new logs containing the latest BSODs please?

Thanks for the reply.

It was set to Automatic Memory Dumps, so I changed it to small. I'll leave the computer overnight and reply in the morning (assuming the BSOD occurs) with the new logs.
