    BSOD after installing new ram

Hi, I installed a new set of RAM and thereafter started updating my graphics drivers. I got a BSOD with error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and after managing to uninstall and reinstall the old graphics driver and reinstalling my graphics card I got a BSOD with error CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION....

    My Specs:
    CPU: AMD A8 3870k - not overclocked
    Motherboard: MSI a75a-g35
    Old ram - Transcend 4gb 1333mhz
    New ram - Patriot 8gb 1600mhz
    500W power supply
    (if these matter)
    random usb keyboard
    mouse: cmstorm sentinal advance 2
    headset: plantronics gamecom 780 7.1

    First set of BSODs (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2...ckU&authuser=0

    Last BSOD (CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION) - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2...LWM&authuser=0

the first set of BSODs are all after reinstalling the old ram(except maybe the first 2 which will be with the new ram) and the last BSOD is with the new ram and graphics card installed.

    1. Double check if the RAMs are compatible with your MB.
    2. Make sure your RAM are seated tightly.
    3. In The BIOS, set the RAM voltage manually to the factory spec.
    4. Download: Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool and put it in a USB/CD then boot from it. Let the test run overnight
or at least 4, 5 passes.

    1. Patriots website recommends this set for my motherboard.
    2. The ram is seated properly.
3, 4) I'll try these as soon as I get home.

It seems to be fine as long as my graphics card is not in the pc (the graphics card was working perfectly before)...

OK. then also check for the latest driver for your video card and do a clean install. It is always a good idea to run Memtest when you install the new RAM to ensure that they all work properly, It wouldn't hurt but at least we can isolate the problem.
    Good luck !!!
