Hey everyone, I work at a small company, and sometimes try to figure out what is wrong with some of their computers just to help out. This particular one is having problems exacerbated by our newly installed ESET antivirus. A perfect match of this computer in hardware has been put together and works just fine, same OS. Though ESET needs to stay, I was wondering if any really fantastic person(s) would like to help figure out why this one is playing hard to get.

So before, the debugging write info was listed as automatic memory dump (new to windows 8 and default), but I changed it to complete.
It crashed again, but I still don't see a dump being included. I'm using John's DM Log collector Tool, So I think what it is is not an official 'crash'... the screen goes blank with mouse cursor, but no official blue screen. So I've included a new report, and if you've any suggestions, and if I should try something else, I'll do it.

I was just suggesting the small memory dump because I believe that's what the tool looks for and it's small enough to be uploaded.

I probably won't be much help without a dump file to at least get a hint, I'm sure someone else will chime in though.

Maybe I can artificially make it crash, wonder if that would help. I'll keep searching for a solution and post here if I find anything. Thanks again

Yeah, the small memory dumps are the preferred option.

As for making it crash, driver verifier is an option but I would wait on that.

Part of the ASUS AI Suite is not happy, you could try uninstalling that and see if it helps.
