Yea that's what I did, I didn't uninstall them. I just downloaded them then ran them. It didn't say anything, just 'Failed'. I tried it 2x.

Okay so I won't install the BIOS driver and I will just use windows defender for now

Okay so the problem is still not solved, but I've figured out that my laptop probably has a bad memory management. The lag only occurs when I have multiple things open at the same time. I played my game for 10 hours straight last night and it didn't lag even once because I didn't have chrome or other stuff open... Maybe the hardware is faulty?

    Hi,

Are you still having BSOD? or just fps/lag problem?

As for now I haven't encountered any BSOD yet. The lag still persists, tends to be worse if I'm alt tabbing between programs.

    Well that's normal I think.
Old Windows ( usually older than 2-3 months ) and a lot of programs and services running do not go together with gaming.

You need to give your entry PC resources to the game only. it does not matter how much RAM you have.
CPU needs to give some of it's power to other programs all the time, so the game will be short on resources.
Especially true for online FPS gaming.

No dude, what I mean by "old Windows" is how long are you using it? it does not matter which version you have.

People usually screw their windows in less than 3 months, and then things won't work any more, so reinstallation as soon as thing stop working is what works for gaming.
Tweak your PC for gaming and it will rock
