Hi,
Try to disable "AppEx Accelerator UI" from auto start in: task manager > startup
it's a AMD Quick Stream Technology which starts on boot up.

and I was not able to figure out if you have the "mpc-hc" player installed on your system?
If you do remove it.

Also if you didn't update drivers from manufactures website.

Hi,
well it's not that laptop is bugged but it's official site doesn't look like they provide drivers for Windows 8.1
NP355V4C (NP355V4C-A03MX) | Soporte | SAMSUNG México
these are all for XP and Win7

After looking at dump files I'm not sure what exactly to blame honestly, it is certainly low level problem and I'm not able to figure out what exactly, so have nothing else to recommend but to experiment with drivers.

One which you can test first is ATI beta driver for Windows 8.1 released 2 weeks ago:
AMD Catalyst™ Notebook Display Driver

Feel free to open new thread if none of your experiments yield any results.
