2+ minutes to Restart followed by BSOD

I swapped motherboards and I'm of course having issues with drivers. I've been able to do this before, but this time something I haven't seen before is making things difficult.

    ASRock Z97 Extreme6 mobo
    i7 4770k CPU Windows 8.1
    16GB Gskill Sniper DDR3 1600
    Nvidia GTX 980

I updated all drivers for the new motherboard.
All USB peripherals except keyboard and mouse are disconnected.
Onboard audio, wifi, and the intel ethernet port disabled in BIOS
No issues shown in device manager

    Here are my problems:

-All installs of software hangs if it's not the first after starting windows up.
    -Uninstalls will also hang.
-Restarting windows takes over 2 minutes followed by a BSOD with Driver Power State Failure warning (dump below)

I apologize if there is already a solution to this issue that I missed. I know very little about computers and was only more confused reading through past posts. My computer goes to bsod every 30 minutes or so after every restart. The bsod simply says "system_service_exception". It doesn't have...

Hi everybody, My Windows 8 professional keeps BSOD every 30 minutes, or there abouts. I've tried to decode the DMP files, but don't seem to be getting anywhere :( (the debug tool MS provide is ~1GB and my internet is very slow, so this isn't a viable option) I've recently formatted my...
