BSOD and touchpad lag when watching media

I've received the same BSOD over and over again SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED atikmdag.sys

It happens if I have multiple browsers open (one for browsing the internet, the other for watching a video) and/or watching media such as youtube or netflix. The touchpad of my laptop has also started to lag and causes the computer to glitch unless I plug in a mouse. And then eventually the BSOD happens again. I've tried to refresh my pc but to no avail. The same thing still happens. Any help would be appreciated. I've attached the DM Log ZIP below.

Thanks, C

Hi observatory & welcome to the forums ^_^,

I have analysed your dump files and below has been provided an analysis of the same for informative purposes :-

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints the driver/function that caused the problem.

The callstack has captured the driver responsible for the crash -
Code:
0: kd> knL
 # Child-SP RetAddr Call Site
00 ffffd000`25b7e370 00000000`00000000 [COLOR=#ff0000][B][U]atikmdag[/U][/B][/COLOR]+0xc50ab
And it is your ATI driver which is causing the problems according to the dump file.

Kindly uninstall the currently installed ATI driver using the Display Driver Uninstaller from this **LINK**. Once you have uninstalled the current driver, do a system restart. After booting up, install the driver from this **LINK**.

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Ok so I followed your directions and my computer seems to be even more glitchy than before. It crashed once already and makes weird noises as if it's about to crash but I've closed out programs before it can do so. Is it possible that the driver wasn't installed correctly? Should I try to uninstall and reinstall again?

Hi observatory ^_^,

I am really sorry to hear that my steps made the computer more glitch. Could you please provide me with more detail as to what is happening and when?
Also, kindly upload a freshly generated ZIP file using the Diagnostic Tool and upload it with your next post so that it could be analysed.
