Solved BSOD while playing BF4

game froze, got bsod with timer and note that i should look online for dpc_watchdog_violation + got 032115-3968-01.dmp file in c:\windows\minidump
according to posting issue guide, i include attachment

Disable nVidia Streaming Kernel Service in services.msc What are your load temps?

I would suggest you to uninstall the currently installed nVidia Driver using the Display Driver Tool from this **LINK**. Once it has removed the drivers, reinstall the latest drivers from the nVidia Website and see if the crashes persist or not.

this was my 1st bsod when playing bf4 since bf4 release ( i play bf4 since beta )
my temps during bf4 play r 60-64°C on cpu, 70-74°C on gpu ( i game on benq XL2420Z monitor, it is 144hz, my fps r 90-144 on ultra on 64men maps, thats why my hw gets this hot, but these temps should be 110% safe )
i will try reinstalling nvidia drivers and disabling the stream service as u advise, otherwise this bsod, i have no problems with my computer, except maybe for several erros in the event log, but i googled them and it seems they r win8.1 feature and r not fixable
have u found any other issues checking the logs i sent ?

CPU temps seem to be too high. Log says that nVidia driver caused the crash.

nvidia drivers reinstalled, nvidia stream service disabled and forbiden to start
64°C is kinda hot yes, but ivy bridge cpus tend to run hot and 60~70 should be no problem for them, i read somewhere they start to throttle somwhere at 80-90°C and protection shutdown is at 105°C, i also have turbo disabled and all 4 cores set to 3.9ghz
+ my cpu might be the one with really bad thermal compound spread between chip and ihs
for example when i play league of legends, my cpu temps r 49-53°C.. i know u r trying to help, but i dont think cpu temps r problem here + there is really nothing else to do with that besides removing ihs and applying new thermal compound between ihs and chip
i will post here if i ever get bsod again, thank you for ur advice, if anything, just post here and i ll get notified via email and check

Sorry, I have misread the previous post. Yes the CPU temps are fine.
Keep me posted. Are you 100% sure that your GPU is not at fault here?

as i said before, this is 1st bsod i got during bf4, i have mild overclock on the gpu, nothing serious, it passes firestrike benchmark without problems, i have no artifacts in games so i hope there is nothing wrong with that gpu, it was expensive one :)
+ i googled that bsod note - dpc_watchdog_violation and i read something it might be motherboard or hard drive failing related
if i get more problems, i will post in this thread, thank you for ur time
