BSOD, Kernel Security Check Failure (Win 8.1)

Yesterday, during a game I got a BSOD.
I've gotten this BSOD a few times in the past, though this was only 2nd on my fresh OS installation.

I re-installed Win 8.1 64-bit couple months ago and before that I used to get the same 'Kernel Security Check Failure'-BSOD quite frequently.

Mostly it annoys me because it happens for no reason and randomly, instead of when I'm doing something certain.

I only have a memory dump file, close to 1GB in size and I can't see minidump file anywhere; unless it's not in the root of OS?

Right, so like with Win 7.
It never creates that folder after BSOD, though, it's been like this ever since I upgraded to Win 8 years ago.

So I don't have that folder, hence no minidump either.

Windows is up to date as of just now.
I use Window's own AV, most often paid AV's offer nothing but headache and false positives, better off without that crap.

I do regular scans with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and clean up my registry from time to time with CCleaner.

I haven't had one for 6d.
Though I'd dare to say it's more of a luck rather than 'problem solved' case.

I also figured it tends to happen easier when I'm streaming games, though I have streamed 5 out of 6 days for 6-10h.
A week ago I remember two instances when I had a BSOD (same error code) whilst streaming.

Did Windows Updates help?
As much I'd like to believe so (hey, that required barely any work!) I have a feeling I will be greeted with a blue screen eventually.

I shall keep you posted.

If you think you may be experiencing problems still you can try running Driver Verifier. It's not a perfect program and it may or may not get us anywhere, but it will usually crash because of third party drivers.

First, ensure your computer is setup to create Minidumps upon receiving a fatal crash
Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD - Windows 7 Help Forums

Now run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or upon receiving a BSOD, if your PC crashes, turn off Driver Verifier and run another DM Log Collector and upload it in your next post
Using Driver Verifier to identify issues with Drivers - Windows 7 Help Forums

You can use your PC as normal while Driver Verifier runs.

If you can still find your 1gb memory dump, can you try compressing it with Windows 8 and then upload it to your Google Drive or other cloud storage service then provide us a link?

Ok, not trying to step on your toes. Just saw that the problem isn't exactly fixed. We can force his PC to crash so that we can get a crash dump. Also, there is a crash dump available as he says, we can have him compress it and upload it to Google drive. This should be a more complete dump and most likely will have more information thatn a minidump anyway.

Generate a fresh report as in new topic or DM Log Collector report?
'cause for the reason or other I don't seem to be able to generate minidumps after BSOD's.

I'm using Windows 8 default AV and FW.
I'm not connecting through VPN.

I don't have VMWare nor VBox, though I used to use VMWare before Windows reinstallation.
Curious, is VMWare related to these BSOD's somehow? Could explain why before Windows reinstallation I got so many BSOD's.

EDIT: Uploaded the memory dump created 2 weeks ago on my personal website, hopefully that suffices.

It could have been. That's why I'm asking. Generate a fresh DM Log Collector report.
The dump file is useful. Please detach Razer devices and uninstall their drivers for the time we are troubleshooting.
Uninstall software related to driver in red or update it.
Dump file indicates vrtaucbl.sys - you should see if you can get an update from here Ventrilo - Download or if you don't need it uninstall the application (don't just delete the driver!)

Well, I only have a spare non-Razer mouse God knows where, so gotta find that.
But no spare non-Razer KB.

I'll see if there's an update to Evolve (like Hamachi / Tunngle).
I don't have Ventrilo installed, but I do have TS3.

That's the main cause. Removing Razer is just a precaution as they have been known to cause issues and may be causing havoc as well.

Well, as you might have figured, both my KB and mouse are Razer.

So I gotta get a spare KB somewhere now then?
They take so much space and usually button(s) break so I don't store them.

Because I only have a spare mouse.

Leave them be for now. Focus on other stuff. If further troubleshooting indicates a problem, I will advise you to get a replacement.
