Hey guys,
I have been getting BSOD's lately. They only occur once in a while (the last one was 6 days ago, two days before that I had two) but it's still anoying and I was hoping you guys could help me find the cause. I tried reading the minidump myself (using the tools provided by windows) but gave up because I didn't understand most (if not all) of it.

Thanks in advance - Rik

Hey thanks for the fast reply, I'm downloading the gigabyte app center now since device manager wasn't abel to find drivers.
I uninstalled avg and I am running the sfc /scannow command.
after that I'll start hd tune's error scan but last week that one gave me green squares only.

-Rik

Edit: Filled out my system specs
Another edit: Sfc /scannow couldn't find any problems ("Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.")

Do not use that App Center. That's bloatware. Please monitor your PC for further crashes and post the SS of the Health Tab.

Drivers were installed. Could the crashes have been because of the lack of those drivers?
(they were not installed because I freshly installed windows a couple of weaks ago)

Yes. Chipset is connected with USB. That's why I asked you to install them. They are the very first thing that should be put on the system.

Alright, I didn't bother with the drivers because I had had a lot of problems with my pc before reinstalling windows (hardware related very stupid stuff) and windows seemed to be operating normally (apart from the occasional bsod) and I was kind of fed up with troubleshooting (because of the hardware issue) . I realise how stupid that sounds but it isn't half as stupid as the hardware issue.

Again thanks a lot for your time. I'll put the thread on solved for now, if I get another BSOD I'll let you know.
