BSOD during start up

Hello community,

I've purchased a new pc about two weeks ago, and yet i got 20 BSOD or even more, all of them only during start up. I don't get any BSOD while I work in OS environment, only when pc has to boot up. It's really weird, since BSOD is more applied when you get that during some kind of work with computer. I can stress my GPU, CPU - it handles perfectly, no artifacts, lags, temps rise and etc.

My pc build:

CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1231 v3
Mobo: Asus H97 Pro
SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 128GB
HDD: Seagate 3TB Barracuda
GPU: MSi GTX 970 Gaming edition 4GB 256bit @ 1144Mhz
PSU: Corsair RM 550
RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB (2x8 GB) @ 1600Mhz under XMP profile in BIOS

I've noticed that there is maybe 80-90 percent gettin BSOD at cold boot up (don't know how it's called, but when you turn on computer for the first time). So, when it restarts, it's OK. As I said, PC works fine and no BSOD. I can work hard on him - nothing, only headache is start up. Firstly I got installed Win 7, after WIn 7 loading post image, I got blank screen, blinking (I think system was struggling to indentify the GPU) and I got BSOD everytime after that blank screen. BSOD was saying it's problem with my NVIDIA or DirectX driver. Ok, I decided to move to Win 8. I maybe managed to do 20-30 boot ups, but part of them were not correctly done - each time I managed to get into OS, but all windows were black, only Windows explorer borders were visible (I bet it's directx problem, cos if it's nvidia, I would not see anything at all). Ok, I found that on Power Options, in Power buttons section you can switch off fast boot up, I did. No longer I had problem for maybe 15-20, but after that during ordinary boot up, when I should have got taken to desktop, my screen got blank black and it started blinking, the same process as under Win 7 OS, but this time it really tried to catch up GPU really hard, but not successfully, so I got for the first time BSOD. And it said it has something to do with WATCHDOG system file. But when I checked dump file in Bluescreen viewer, it says problem is ntokrnl.exe.

Please, can you help me out? I got newest windows and drivers updates. No third-party registry changing or repairing software is installed.

I assign my dumpfile for further investigation. Thanks.

Disable nVidia Streaming Kernel Service in services.msc
Try clean boot. If that doesn't help, I would suggest you to uninstall the currently installed nVidia Driver using the Display Driver Tool from this **LINK**. Once it has removed the drivers, reinstall the latest drivers from the nVidia Website and see if the crashes persist or not.

Hey,

first of all, I really appreciate your fast and kind support :)

Now, about my case. After I disabled nvidia kernel streaming service and installed nvidia hotfix 377.71 driver, it seemed the computer run fine, until I faced video and audio stuttering, while working in sony vegas, or playing videos in youtube (I noticed it happened for the first time when i watched 4k video). So, the video and audio suddenly slow down and act really weird. Awkward freezing noises and video becomes no longer smooth, but framy, if you like. If I re-open Sony Vegas, or if I reload Youtube video - problem is gone. Don't know why it's happening. By the way, I am using my external audio interface Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 via USB3 with lowest set latency (1ms (I need this for my music production when I playing guitar, so no delay would appear)).

I noticed, that one day ago new NVIDIA drivers came out, so I installed it. Today when i turned on computer, old problem came out (BSOD at booting up). Again, it says it's a problem with DPC_Watchdog_VIOLATION or something like that, the system want to recognise GPU, and it fails, so it restarts.

Seriously, it's a pain in the ... I paid a lot for a new pc to have it for my work and entertainment, but all I get - problems.

Can you help me out?

Thank You.

I am adding a new dump file for further investigation.

I think I am rolling back it to 377.71, because it was stable. Now about the sound, I've noticed problem disappears when I put a longer latency on my audio interface's software. Dunno on what depends that latency. My is pretty fast to handle 1 ms and it handles pretty much flawlessly if I only play music, but when I work on video or watch video, somehow robotic, freezing sound pops out.

GPU runs perfectly in games. No artifacts, no lags, no temp rises. All is clear.
