In have had this problem in the past and it suddenly stopped. No new hardware, software or changes have been made.

My computer will be going along
View attachment 58992 fine and then all of a sudden BSOD and on occasion just plain old reboot. Attached is the debugging tool report.

Any help would really be appreciated as I am starting to really, REALLY miss my old XP system, which I knew inside out and backwards.

Many Thanks in Advance,
Rhainy

Your UEFI/BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the UEFI/BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard. If possible, use the "inside Windows" flash mechanism (if your OEM provides one) - that is much more forgiving than the traditional (floppy drive) flash method.

This device is having problems in Device Manager:
Not Available SW\{CFD669F1-9BC2-11D0-8299-0000F822FE8A}\{0A4252A0-7E70-11D0-A5D6-28DB04C10000} This device is not configured correctly.
The answer given by Auggy at the following link is probably the most likely solution for this error: Error:Windows cannot start this hardware device because its - Microsoft Community But, it's possible that the device just isn't compatible with Win8/8.1 The point here is that the system may just be too old for Win8/8.1 and you may be better off with Win7 or even Vista if you need a stable system. Regardless of which direction you may choose to go in, we'll continue to provide assistance.

MalwareBytes is running along with Norton - this can cause conflicts, and even BSOD's
Please uninstall MalwareBytes. Should you choose to reinstall it (after the system is stabilized), please uncheck the box for the free trial of the Premium version (that's what runs in memory and may conflict with the Norton).

Out of 8 memory dumps there were 6 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things (the list is not in any sort of order):
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- dirt/dust/hair/fur/crud inside the case. Blow out the case/vents with canned air (DO NOT use an air compressor or vacuum as they can cause damage to the system)
- missing Windows Updates
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers), older systems, or even pirated systems
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

Please get a head start on the hardware diagnostics - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
