Hi,

Since some days I have a problem on my computer. A BSOD appears whenever I want to remove my mouse, or uninstall its driver (I thought maybe it could help), or even disabling the mouse.

Can you help me ? I ran "DM log collector v1.3" before posting this.
Here it is : View attachment 58841

I tried everything I could think of but it doesn't seem enough to solve the problem.
By the way, my mouse is a "Saitek Cyborg R.A.T 7", bought in 2010.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,
Geoffrey R.

Disable all startup items. Your Intel Mouse driver is the culprit: Driver Reference Table - imsevent.sys
Uninstall Asus bloatware from your system.
Uninstall TAP-Win32 Adapter V9 or OpenVPN driver or COMODO whichever you have.
Disable nVidia Streaming Kernel Service in services.msc

Thank you a lot for your help and this really quick answer !
I disabled the Nvidia Streamer Service, but I don't know what is the "Asus Bloatware", is it a service also ?
I also disabled the 2 network connection Tap-Win32 adapter v9 I had but never used. I couldn't uninstall them though, the option was not possible.

Asus bloatware is Asus software (Asus Charger, Asus monitoring software).
Check this out as well: Driver Reference Table - npf.sys
But my main concern is mouse.

Ah ok thank you for the information.
But what do you mean "main concern is mouse" ? You think it is kind of dead ? I want to replace it by a new one even though it's still working perfectly for now. But I just can't remove it from my computer without making a BSOD appear.
I will try to unplugg it now. I will post the result.

Because it's the culprit (the underlying cause). I'd try another version of the drivers. Did you try uninstalling it from device manager in Safe Mode?

I will post the result.

It seems I can't boot in Safe Mode because I have to enter my password and my Saitek Cyborg keyboard is not recognized before entering windows 8. It is really strange.

Another information if it can be usefull :
When I open the devices manager, I see under mouse a "HID mouse", and apparently I can't remove or disable it.
Can I remove it from elsewhere ?

[I did a chkdsk on my drive but everything seems ok]

Everything is the same as before. When you get to the login screen disconnect and reconnect your keyboard. It helped me a few times in the past.

No it still doesn't work. And my keyboard is functionnal at boot time and I can do whatever I want in bios, it's just in safe mode that is can't write anything, so no password possible to enter at login screen.
Is there any other way for uninstalling a driver ?
