BSODs Since New 8.1 Install (Kernel Security Check & more)

    Hi!

I recently updated my computer from Windows 7 to 8.1. Right off the bat, I started experiencing repeated BSODs:
    System Thread Exception Not Handled
    Memory Management
    IRQL Not Less or Equal
    Page Fault in Nonpaged Area
and frankly probably more than I don't remember now.

I went through all my drivers, updated everything, installed all Windows Updates, uninstalled some software I thought might have been the cause (most notably Avast), but it didn't help. I eventually got to the point where I reformatted and did a clean 8.1 install, but I'm still getting the BSOD errors, even prior to installing anything. That said, the errors I'm getting now are more commonly these:
    NTFS File System
    Kernel Security Check
    Driver Overran Stack Buffer

I'm kind of at a loss at this point. My PC is generally fairly stable at the desktop, and prior to my reformat my girlfriend was playing games on it (via Steam) without issue. However, it'll crash fairly quickly when playing video files or browsing the internet, especially with multiple tabs open. It really likes BSODing during the Windows Update process, which has prevented me from reinstalling all the updates. Also, if it BSODs once, it'll likely do it one or two more times immediately upon restart.

Since I reformatted, I don't have any new crash dumps, but I just reinstalled the SDK prior to writing this, so I'll update as they come up.

Please get all available Windows Updates.
    Uninstall MSI software.
Run SFC: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker - Windows 7 Help Forums
and Disk Check - Windows 7 Help Forums
I would suggest you to uninstall the currently installed AMD Driver using the Display Driver Tool from this **LINK**. Once it has removed the drivers, reinstall the latest drivers from the AMD Website and see if the crashes persist or not.

    Code:
    NTIOLib_X64.sys Wed Oct 20 08:45:49 2010 (4CBE901D)
MSI Afterburner driver (known BSOD issues with Windows) Also found to be a part of MSI Live Update 5 & MSI Super Charger[br] [br] Recently (Nov 2014) there have been numerous instances of this driver in memory dumps. Analysis reveals that they are scattered throughout the filesystem by the installed MSI command utilities. For now I suggest uninstalling them all.

    Still not resolved, unfortunately.
I was able to get all Windows Updates (eventually, but a few BSODs/shutdowns during that process).
Uninstalled anything from MSI. Ran SFC /scannow (no problems) and CHKDSK (no problems; I'm on an SSD if that matters).
Used the driver tool to uninstall my display driver, then reinstalled directly from their website - didn't use a download utility or Windows Update. I'm on an Nvidia card and I couldn't locate any AMD drivers, but I also ran it for AMD anyway.

I thought I was fine...like I said, stable at the desktop and all updates finally installed successfully. However, went to watch Better Call Saul and within about 10 minutes, my computer turned off. No BSOD, just off.
I restarted and promptly got IRQL Not Less or Equal, then NTFS File System, then one or two more I didn't note. After that, it powered off again, threw another BSOD or two, gave me a black screen on startup, another BSOD, then a blue screen on startup (not BSOD, just blue) before finally staying on. All crashes happened during boot or immediately following Windows logon.

These crashes were caused by your Ethernet driver:
Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller.
    Please update it.
Disable nVidia Streaming Kernel Service in services.msc

    Code:
    TuneUpUtilitiesDriver64.sys Fri May 25 12:28:19 2012 (4FBF5EC3)

TuneUpUtilitiesDriver64.sys - this driver hasn't been added to the DRT as of this run. Please search Google/Bing for the driver if additional information is needed.

    Windows 8.1 64 bit

Thought I was done with this because it hadn't crashed in a couple days (though I hadn't pushed it by doing any of the things that really reliably led to crashes), but it's back last night and today.
IRQL, KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED, and now for the first time WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR. As before, it crashes, then crashes a couple of more times on startup immediately afterwards.

Per the last response, I disabled NVIDIA Streamer Service, and I successfully upgraded my Qualcomm Atheros drivers to the most recent version (2.1.0.21) though it wouldn't let me do it until I upgraded from 2.1.0.16 to .17, then to .21.

Again, same as before: it's fairly stable at the desktop and seems to correlate fairly heavily with videos. It also occurred a lot when I was updating Windows, though now that I have all updates and I haven't reinstalled or anything like that, that hasn't been an issue (so I don't know if that's consistent).
