BSOD at Random Times Not Sure What is Causing it

  1. #11

Thank you kindly for the reply back on this request, much appreciate it.

I have some follow up questions that I need your guidance with please.

    (1) You had said disable all start up items? Am I to do this before I attempt to update the drivers in red?

    (2) How or where do I go to disable all these start up items please?

    (3) Even though there is a long list of drivers here, some in blue as well, I do not need to update them as well do I?

    (4) Install HD Tune -- Where do I get this at please?

    (5) and take a screenshot of Health Tab and of the completed Error Scan, not quick but complete one?? Do I then just upload those screen shots here when they are finished please with the scan?

Can you kindly answer these above questions for me, as I don't want to break things along the way of fixing them.

Thank you kindly and I will be awaiting your reply back to further assist me with this.

    Best Regards,

It doesn't matter, really. Startup Items - Manage in Windows 8
No, you should only update those in red.
Yes. Just upload the pictures when done.
No problem, it's always better to ask. If there's anything else, just let me know

Okay above are the results from the HD tune software.

However, I am still struggling with locating the drivers in red that you highlighted for me to update. I clicked on each URL, and it would take me to that drivers page, but then there was a link below that to take me to the actual site I am assuming to update the driver at.

But, when I got to the page itself there are a long list of items on those pages, and thus I am uncertain which one belongs to me and my system here???

Example: the CLvirtual driver: Customer Support - Updates | CyberLink

Then for the Arcsoft one same thing. I sure could use your guidance on how to locate these drivers on my machine, so I would better know what actual driver I need here for each???

I tried also to look in my device manager for these drivers to update them in that fashion, but I can not locate the ones you high lighted in red there either? Is there another location that I should be looking at on my machine here please?

Thanks and will be watching for your reply back to further assist me with getting this sorted.

    Best Regards,

Uninstall CyberLink Virtual drive and Arcsoft the same goes for everything else you can't find. However, I'd recommend you create a system restore point, just in case.
