    Error 0xc000021a unsolvable?!?!?!

Alright so here I go... I get home from work and boot my PC, only to find it wasn't responding to anything and the clock dissappeared from the welcome screen. So, as most other people would, I hard reset it as it would not respond to the power button.

However, I seem to have created a problem for myself... I'm now stuck in a bootloop in which the PC refuses to fix itself. I start it... I get error 0xc000021a in a bsod and it reboots to try and repair, in which that fails. I have tried a 2 separate system restores, both 28th and 23rd of January, to no avail.

Sorry that I cannot create any dump of any kind, as I can't even access any part of my PC.

I've tried other methods such as the DISM command, only to get some error stating that I'm supposed to use an /online command. Eh?
I've tried booting into safe mode, only to get the exact same error.
I cannot refresh or reboot as I do not have access to a disk or flash drive at this point (my kid sister snapped my disc in a fit of rage, irrelevant but worth noting.)

I can't even chkdsk because it says something about the HDD being locked?

For future reference, this is a custom built PC so there's no telling what I did.

My system specs are as follows:
    Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3 mobo
    Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit
    8gb DDR3 ADATA Ram.
    Core-i5 4460 @3.2gh.
    Sapphire HD 5850 1gb
    500w psu.
    2x 500gb WD Caviar green and 1x 500gb Seagate.

I've got 4 fans cooling the system so I doubt anything is fried?

I've literally tried nearly all non-disc/drive workarounds and I'm going to set this thing ablaze with hellfire soon. 😡😡😡

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

P.s. yes I have removed all hardware and replugged all bit by bit and nothing has changed.

Try booting with "force drivers to have signature disabled" option. Here's the guide: How to Disable Driver Signature Verification on 64-Bit Windows 8.1 (So That You Can Install Unsigned Drivers)

I've tried that, only to have it repeat the BSOD. :/

And it doesn't say that on mine, it says "Disable drive enforcement". I assumed it was the same thing.

    Can you access CMD?

Yes I can. When it BSOD's, it reboots to the advanced options and I can access the command prompt through the troubleshooting.

Try running this DISM command instead of the usual ones:

    1. Type: “DISM /image:C\ /cleanup-image /revertpendingactions”
    2. Then type: “move C:\Windows\WinSxS\pending.xml C:\Windows\WinSxS\pending.old”

Restart your system and see if it now boots again.

    EDIT: video guide added.

That was the DISM command I was referring to. I'll redo the actions now and post the resulT in an image.

    Try this too:

    1. Use a Windows 8 or 8.1 CD/DVD/USB to boot your computer.
    2. On the screen that appears click the button labeled Next
    3. Click the link labeled Repair your computer
    4. Click Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt
    5. In the Command Prompt window, type:
      bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy
      and press Enter
    6. Now, take the CD/DVD/USB out and restart the computer.
    7. When the computer restarts, keep pressing the F8 key repeatedly and you should see the Advanced Boot Options screen
    8. Select Safe Mode from the list

I've attached 2 images (hopefully, neither of my phones like the website or the app). Anyway, as I said I can't access any type of windows media. But I tried your second command in the command prompt from the advanced tools. I type it out exactly the way it's written in that tutorial right?
