green screen on restarts

hello i have been having a problem lately with my windows 8.1 pc. mostly when i restart my pc i have been noticing a different debug code on screen which is CA which after some research is oem BDS initialisation codes which i can't seam to find an answer on line. and i have also been getting a green screen on boot up which only lasts till i have logged in can anyone help with this thanks in advance

I have heard and experienced it a couple of times myself. Once it was just a GPU driver and the second time the GPU was dead. I had to RMA it and get a new one.
For starters, let's try with new driver version and booting up in safe mode to see if the problem is present there.

Interesting. Never experienced this myself and nor the people around me. So, this seems to be a rare incident...

also getting problem latley with booting i am occasionally getting stuck at boot up getting stuck at CA which is oem bds initialization code i can't find anything about what this is does anybody know thanks think these are both linked some how
