Laptop is crashing = :( BSOD + three different errors

So my laptop (SONY Vaio, E series) started going a little bit slower today, and then after some time my Firefox crashed, I tried restarting it but it crashed a second time then all of a sudden my laptop just shut down. I tried turning it back on but it would get to the start up screen then restart from there. Sometimes it would load to the BSOD but whenever I tried to read the error it would very quickly crash and then start the process again. I've tried entering safe mode multiple times but am unable to get into it. I saw online to press and hold 'F2' so I did that and I was taken to the BSOD. BSOD stay up long enough for me to read the error. I did it a few times and got three different errors:

    First error: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    Second error: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA
    Third error: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

Each time it would get to 100% and then crash immediately. I haven't installed any updates recently or downloaded anything. I also don't have a windows 8 disk/installation disk, I didn't get any disks with my laptop when I purchased it.

    PLEASE HELP!

    Thanks in advance,

Hi Deecey & Welcome to the forums ^_^,

According to the information you have provided, it seems that there is a hardware problem which has led to the corruption of Windows. I would suggest you to run the Hard Disk Diagnostics first from the below link and then report back the results (thanks usasma) -
    Hard Drive Diagnostic Procedure

Also, see if you can arrange for a Windows Installation Disk.

Let me know how it goes ^_^

    Thanks for the reply Pranav.

So I've clicked your link and understand what I need to do (burn download on to CD, and then put in crashing computer) BUT, I don't understand what I need to do for the second step. I don't know what I'm supposed to download or where to find what I need to download. Sorry, I'm usually pretty good with stuff like this, but I just can't get this.

    Thanks,

ALSO. I've just downloaded and burnt onto a CD the Windows 8/8.1 Installation Media. I got it from this link: Create installation media for Windows 8.1 - Windows Help. Was the the right thing to do???

    Hi Deecey ^_^,

Sorry for the late response. I just reached home.

See if using the Installation Disc, whether you are able to repair the system.

If you followed the first step correctly, you should know the manufacturer of the Hard Disk which is present on your system. Now, since you are not able to enter into Windows, enter the BIOS and it should show you the Hard Disk serial number or the Hard Disk's manufacturer. If you get the serial number, google it and you would get the manufacturer. Then follow the step 2 and download that manufacturer's tool to check the hard disk.

I hope this clears your doubt

Let me know how it goes ^_^
