System can't boot correctly after [DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION]

Recently installed TrackIR 5, and when using it in-game (ArmA 3) things went as expected. Today, I experienced a couple of weird crashes. The first one, the game froze, and the entire OS hung and I waited a couple of minutes before I returned to desktop, CTRL+ALT+Delete, task manager, and ended the game's process. Opened the TrackIR 5 software, that also crashed. restarted it, and that was working fine.

In case you don't know, TrackIR 5 has a couple of drivers - one for the USB, and one for the software that controls it.

The second crash, I returned to the game, and not shortly after, the same crash occurred, except this time, I couldn't return to the desktop, smashing all types of shortcuts (ALT+F4 to close game, CTRL+ALT+Escape & CTRL+ALT+Delete to open task manager) and a blue screen came up with something along the lines of "Something went wrong with your PC, we're collecting some stuff and we'll restart." It reached 100%, stayed there for a couple of minutes before I decided to force reboot.

And now I'm here, can't boot into windows. Sometimes, I'll hear the startup sound and my peripherals will turn on (LEDs will enable) but nothing appears on screen. Tried changing from HDMI display input to DVI-D to no avail. Other times nothing will happen. I do not have AVG, only Windows Defender.

Edit: Removed the TrackIR 5 drivers through device manager, then removed video driver, and then I could temporarily boot into windows before I'd get a BSOD or a blank screen again. I had enough time to remove the TrackIR software, but it doesn't stop the crashes. These have been added to the SF Debug .zip.

Hi pal it was happening to me. Close auto-installing drivers. Uninstall current drivers and install your manufacturer's drivers. Google how to do it :)

You mean like motherboard drivers? I'm not even sure what's causing this yet, especially since I've removed TrackIR software and I'm still getting a blank screen. This isn't a new build, everything was stable prior to installing TrackIR. I can't boot into Windows, at least not for long.

mine was about display drivers. I think yours too because you said it happened while on game. Still dont use TrackIR. Look event viewer and look for red warnings. at the description part you could find which driver or service causing it. Also if you have nvidia graphics disable nvidia streaming service from services. I hope these will fix your problem.

Also i couldn't boot into windows too. after windows logo it stucks at black screen and mouse was showing 1 second when i move it than disappears, i re-installed windows unfortunately, then i did what i suggested you and i haven't seen that bsod ever again. But don't re-install windows right now. try a few times to boot into windows, sometimes you would boot succesfully.

Yes, that's the exact same issue I'm having. Are you saying that I shouldn't use TrackIR though? I'll try your suggestions, but check the edit of the beginning post. :)

i don't see a problem of using it. Like i said before it is about your graphic drivers. I assume that u have Intel Vga and Nvidia or ati together. They try to update themselves on boot so that makes BSOD. After doing my suggestions try playing games without installing it. And if no bsod occurs install it and play games with it. So if it is the problem we will know it :)) To be more safe, create a system restore point before installing TrackIR. So if bsod occurs you could keep your pc alive :D

Checked and I don't have the streaming service (I don't have GeForce experience). In relation to the event logger, I'm not really sure what I'm looking for here, but 'System' in 'Windows Logs' points that my display driver crashed (First weird hang I was talking about) and these are warnings, say the display driver recovered after 38 tries (That's why it took ~3 minutes to recover). After that, it's all errors (System hung and then BSOD) and the source is nvlddmkm ID 13. Today, all the errors source are Service Control Manager ID 7001 and DistributedCOM ID 10005.

Yes, Intel and NVIDIA. You're right about the updating, looks like in device manager my GPU installed itself again and that's why I wasn't getting a display input again. I've uninstalled it again, but evidently that's only a temporary fix.

What should I do from here?

What should I do from here?

Firstly disable auto-update of drivers.right click on Computer>Properties>Advanced System Settings>and that PHOTO
Now you should uninstall both of intel and nvidia drivers. but i recommend you to uninstall them from safe mode. If you want to be sure use Guru Driver Sweeper for uninstalling nvidia (of course in safe mode)

Than first install intel graphics driver - reboot - install nvidia driver - reboot

That's all. Reboot stages are important in order to prevent drivers stuck at boot phase.
At the end you could also close windows updates like i did.

Well, it is an Nvidia problem like we guess. Ignore DistributedCOM it is not important almost everybody has it.

The NVIDIA drivers are causing the issue. I tend to only install PhysX and display audio, tried that on v347.09, that crashed as soon as it installed, and just the graphics driver on v344.75 and that gave me a blank screen upon boot. System's stable with just intel, except that doesn't really help me.

I had a PM request to put in my 2¢ here.

Only 79 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 100 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Don't worry about the specific number, it's just important that you have checked and installed any updates that were available (and didn't experience any errors).

No network card installed in systeminfo.txt How are you connecting to the internet?

There are enough signs here that I have to wonder about this installation. Should this be a pirated copy of Windows, please be aware that we may not be able to fix it (as the hacks that were done to activate it will cause the OS to behave differently than we expect it to). If that's the case, our efforts to help may just waste your time. Secondly, the forum rules prohibit assisting with pirated software - so the topic would be closed if that is the case.

Please provide this report:
License Information (Windows 8)

    button
  2. Click on Command prompt =>
  3. Inside the Command Prompt windows copy and paste the following command
    licensingdiag.exe -report "%userprofile%\Desktop\report.txt" -log "%userprofile%\Desktop\repfiles.cab"
  4. Once finished please go to your desktop -> You will see two files report.txt and repfiles.cab -> Please select both files and add them into a zip file
  5. Upload this zip file to your next reply

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
