Crashing after an hour, screen goes haywire.

Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron 15R running Windows 8.1. Here is the config:

Also with a AMD 8500M/8700M graphic card.

I don't know what is wrong, the laptop works fine for about an hour and then it turns off and the screen turns into an old T.V. without cable, kind of like this:

Then I have to remove the batteries or hold the power button and if I start it again instantly then it it will still show the fuzzy screen like an old T.V. I have to keep the laptop powered down for about three to four hours for it to work again but after an hour it will again show the same error.

I tried to give it for repairs but even they don't know what exactly is wrong with it.

I even tried checking in the Event Viewer but the Event Viewer has stopped recording logs since the last few months.

Why is all this happening?

According to your description, it seems that the Internal Graphics Processing Unit might be dead. But, I will need those reports.

Till the time you are awaiting my response after you upload the log files, run Furmark according to the below instructions and see if you find any errors and report back the temperatures (thanks usasma)-

FurMark Setup:
- If you have more than one GPU, select Multi-GPU during setup
- In the Run mode box, select "Stability Test" and "Log GPU Temperature"
Click "Go" to start the test (Looks like it's "BURN-IN test" now)
- Run the test until the GPU temperature maxes out - or until you start having problems (whichever comes first).
NOTE: Set the alarm to go off at 90ºC. Then watch the system from that point on. If the system doesn't display a temperature, watch it constantly and turn it off at the first sign of video problems. DO NOT leave it it unmonitored, it can DAMAGE your video card!!!
If the temperature gets above 100ºC, quit the test - the video card is overheating.
- Click "Quit" to exit
What you are looking for:
- excessive heat from the GPU (report back with anything over 90ºC)
- problems with the video display (picture is distorted or jumbled, picture turns black, etc)
- problems reported by the program (I haven't seen this, but "just in case")
