Critical Structure Corruption (+ pointer and other types)

    Hello and thank you,

No new behaviors, but my HP pavilion (8 months old-ish) has started throwing BSODs at me. 5 so far with increasing frequency over the past month. I've attached the dump file, but have no idea what caused it or triggers it. Also, it seems I can't even open the dump files? Is there a reader I need to download so I can try to learn about what is happening?

    Thanks again,

    Wesley

Test your RAM with Memtest for 8 passes: RAM - Test with Memtest86+ - Windows 7 Help Forums and update drivers in red plus remove McAffee as his file is responsible for your crashes. Here's the uninstall utility: http://download.mcafee.com/products/...tches/MCPR.exe

    BugCheck 18, {0,  ffffc00059e20e70, 10, fffffffffffffff0}
    BugCheck Info: REFERENCE_BY_POINTER (18)
    Bugcheck code 00000018
    Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, Object type of the object whose reference count is being lowered
Arg2: ffffc00059e20e70, Object whose reference count is being lowered
    Arg3: 0000000000000010, Reserved
    Arg4: fffffffffffffff0, Reserved
The reference count of an object is illegal for the current state of the object.
Each time a driver uses a pointer to an object the driver calls a kernel routine
to increment the reference count of the object. When the driver is done with the
pointer the driver calls another kernel routine to decrement the reference count.
Drivers must match calls to the increment and decrement routines. This bugcheck
can occur because an object's reference count goes to zero while there are still
open handles to the object, in which case the fourth parameter indicates the number
of opened handles. It may also occur when the object?s reference count drops below zero
whether or not there are open handles to the object, and in that case the fourth parameter
contains the actual value of the pointer references count.
