Hello,
Recently my computer begin to act up with this BSOD things whenerver I try to restart my laptop (S56CM - ASUS).
Trust is, I used the "Reset Computer" function of Windows 8.1 since I experienced some problems with system files, and got my OS reverted to Windows 8. All drivers and additional programme came from ASUS seems to be installed already so all i did was install about 125 Windows update (from Notification Center) in order to be able to install 8.1, then of course I installed the 8.1 update.
But since then I've got a handful of problem i have never seen before:
_Windows kinda freeze for about 5 minutes or so right after start up, then it work, kinda normal, but all USB ports are dead, still got power to charge my phone but dont connect it to computer. I tried the device manager but it stuck at "Scanning Plug and Play...."
_If I shut down the computer, the screen gone dim just like normal but it take me about 15 minutes or so to shut down the machine, sometimes it even restart automatically instead of shutting down.
_And when I tried to restart I got the BSOD. Take about 10 minutes to restart from BSOD. The weird thing is once I restarted sucessfully, all the problem I listed, usually, go away and my laptop work like it should do.
The cycle return after each time I shut down my laptop and turn it back on (not by using Restart).
I'm kinda live with it for about 2 weeks or so but it's kinda tired, then I found you. I've tried the Hiren Boot test on my HDD but the result was good (phew...).
Here is my log, you got my thanks :D And sorry for the long text and my English (not a native speaker)

So, according to the stack, the RAID is causing all the troubles. Below is a list of 3rd party drivers present on your system -

Kindly remove the Intel Rapid Storage using the below guide (Thanks Patrick!) -
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...chnology/e3c4b6d6-56ba-4ac5-be50-89843c9d9b22

Also, I would advise you to remove all of the ASUS Bloatware (Except the ATK Hotkey Utility).

Let me know how it goes ^_^

First word : Thank you sooooo much :D The solution seems to work fine for my first try :D
But since I'm unable do disable all the driver files as the last part of Uninstall Guide told me to do ('Non plug-and-play device' is no longer available for windows 8), I will see, in few more day, if the problem still exist.
Thank you :D
P/S : just a little question: by removing this driver I don't know if my 24-GB SSD (cache running) still work or not?

Sure thing. Let me know how it goes ^_^

The SSD would be running properly until and unless you have setup RAID on your system.

Let me know how it goes ^_^
