Recurring multiple BSODs, almost every day

    Hello,
For years my asus laptop is giving me bsods. I've tried everything - hardware check (everything is ok, says the service, memory was tested for 12 hours - also ok). I've updated every driver using multiple software (driver navigator, driver detective, etc.).
Tried rerolling nvidia driver for no avail. Still bsods.
Tried windows 7, 8 and now 8.1 - every one of them had bsods. I started to think it is an asus driver problem, so installed everything with pure windows drivers - only used 2-3 asus driver, where nothing else worked.

Now I don't know what to do: seemingly everything is ok, hardware and drivers, still I get constant crashes, sometimes 2-3 a day...
Please help me, I'm loosing hair here...
    Thank you in advance.

    Thank you very much.

There are 5 drivers in red, but I could only get 1 (Realtek HiDefinition Audio driver). I'm sorry I'm not a tekkie guy, that is why I'm here.

For the ATK WMIACPI Utility if I go to the asus site it shows me the old one I already have. (BTW asus isn't the company to care for their costumers - the latest drivers for my rig (from 2011) is of 2012... And they recommend win8 for their laptops...) So if asus doesn't have it, where can I get it?

Same for the ATK Hotkey Driver - on the lenovo site (where carrona.org sent me), I get a 2008 version...

The Intel site have for watchdog a SDK, but no drivers.

I googled SCDEmu.SYS, but I don't know how to get the latest one.

How can track down these drivers? Is there an easy way? Or at least a working one?
Thank you very much for your help.

Try running Intel Driver Update Utility. Please write the exact model of your laptop.

MY laptop is an Asus g53sx. Thank you.

Edit: I've installed and run the Intel Driver Update Utility, it updated a driver, but did not show the watchdog driver.

I've done some googling and apparently, Asus doesn't recommend running W8 on their laptops, so you have to look for an update at manufacturer's website. I'd recommend locating scdemu and renaming it from sys to bak. Create a restore point prior to doing that in case your system becomes unbootable (It shouldn't, but just to be safe.)

A month or so ago there was: ASUS recommends Windows8., now it is only: ASUS recommends Windows... Funny.

I've done what you advised, restarted, but nothing happened. It is still scdemu.bak. Is this normal?
Edit: it belongs to poweriso, maybe I'll uninstall the software as it is.

Yes, please do. You can also enable Driver Verifier. It might be able to pinpoint the driver causing the crash. : Using Driver Verifier to identify issues with Drivers - Windows 7 Help Forums

I've tried that once, but it crashed every time on startup...

Any ideas on ASMMAP64.sys for LENOVO ATK Hotkey ATK0101 ACPI UTILITY or on atkwmiacpi64.sys forATK WMIACPI Utility? Maybe for the intel watchdog? The Intel Driver Update Utility must have updated it?

    Thank you for your help.

Yes, that IS the point. It crashes and then creates a minidump. Please enable it and post the dump file after a crash. Ignore these for now. Let's focus on Driver Verifier and pinpointing the cause of your crashes.
