I updated to 8.1 today. Now I am facing BSOD on shutdown and very long boot time.
I am unable to install nVidia driver properly as it gets stuck. Same goes for updating Intel RST.
Unable to open safe mode as that requires a restart. (Shift+F8 doesn't work)
msinfo get stuck at Printing.
Unable to open Hardware and Devices from control panel.
That sums all I have found till now.

Unloading zip here.

Edit: sfc /scannow throws Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service.

Update your Atheros Bluetooth driver: Driver Reference Table - btfilter.sys and look for updates of the drivers in red, and for your chipset and usb drivers.

I am stuck. Installing new drivers require uninstalling old ones. Uninstalling old ones requires reboot. I am getting BSOD on reboot. What should I do?

Edit: Uninstalled wireless devices from device manager. Was able to reboot properly. Installed updated wireless drivers successfully. Windows still takes time to load. Sometimes gets stuck on black screen after login.

Edit 2: Thanks for your help. No longer facing BSOD. But Windows got very slow after update. Boot takes about 4 min which used to take less than one before. Could this also be a driver issue?
Marking as solved as BSOD went away.
