BSOD random on bigger internet use (downloading)

    Hello.

Past few motnhs I have been getting such errors, but my primary HDD had some fail sectors, so I though that's the error. I finally found money to buy a shiny new SSD drive and reainstalled clean new Windows 8.1 . But errors started to happen again after few days. First error showed ndis.sys, so I updated drivers for my ethernet adapter. It was okay for a few days, but then it happened again today. It happened clearly two times in a row (after few minutes) but second crashdump is missing as I see (don't know why). First time it happened today, when I started downloading some patch for a game and after few minutes BSOD popped out. After restarting computer, I continued to download the same file and it happened again. The weird thing is that I started download same file trough the game's launcher (but with reasonably lower speed) and nothing happened. I am still unable to find out the error, tried to check all the drivers, stopping Avast, but I can't seems to reproduce the error, it just happenes randomly.

Update your wifi. It's the cause of your problems and kindly revert your CPU to stock settings while we are troubleshooting as I can see it's overclocked.

I don't have laptop, it's normal PC without any wifi module. I only updated my drivers to latest possible, because I had problems with it even before reinstalling the whole Windows on new SSD disk.

Anyway - ok, I put all the settings in BIOS back to normal stage. But I highly doubt it has any connection to it, since this is quite small overclock for this CPU, it's even on stock voltage and on 400 Mhz FSB it perfectly fits even with RAM modules. Anyway all is back to normal settings.

Let's if it happens again in few days.

OK, I was talking about updating this: Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller because it seems to have caused the BSODs.

I have already updated it to latest version before this happens. As I stated in first post - I had troubles with same BSOD before and I though it is HDD failure (it had bad sectors) and now, after getting new drive, it is happening again. It is happening even with newest drivers from Atheros and sraches also with driver from Microsoft (that one which is downloaded automatically when clean system is installed).

No chance, that would mean buying USB WiFi.

No, wired as in, plugging an ethernet cable into your computer, and NOT connecting via wifi.
