ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY // Couldnt fit it in the title.

I get other blue screens that arent the same as this one, they tend to vary alot, its not just this one.

Ive being getting blue screens when playing Far Cry 4, Assassins Creedy Unity, and CS:GO, it only happens on CS:GO when I don't cap the FPS to 120, If I cap FPS to 120 it will run fine for hours, but if I forget to uncap it, ill bluescreen within 15 minutes. it happened frequently on Windows 7 also and in the passed week I have installed windows 8 twice, it still seems to be happening.

I have no idea whats causing it, I have being considering buying and building a completely new PC again, which would be a shame as this one is only around a year and a half old, and nothing is wrong with it.

Also when it bluescreens I have noticed it ALWAYS deletes my corsair vengeance sound profiles, I don't know if thats any useful information though.

There is only 1 memory dump in the uploaded reports. If using a disk cleaner (such as CCleaner) please stop while we're troubleshooting.

Your UEFI/BIOS dates from 2012. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the UEFI/BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard. If possible, use the "inside Windows" flash mechanism (if your OEM provides one) - that is much more forgiving than the traditional (floppy drive) flash method.

HotSpotShield (one of it's drivers is hssdrv6.sys) is known to cause BSOD's with some Windows systems. Please uninstall it immediately!

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.

The drivers that are [DEL]struckout[/DEL] don't have updates available (AFAIK).
DO NOT delete them, just leave them be.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Thanks for your reply, I will do the things listed, ill try not to use ccleaner also, though its a habbit. about updating by BIOS, How would I go about doing that? Would I be able to download the update from the motherboard manufacturers website and put it on a USB and boot from USB? Would it work like that? Or is it a different method, if you could explain this ill get this done also.

Here is another, Not sure how many BSOD logs are in it as I tested Driver Verifier, and it was blue screening as I was logging in.

This one happened while playing Arma 3, I had my GPU fan on 60%~.

What tool do you use to set your GPU fan speed?
MSI Afterburner (along with Riva Tuner and EVGA Precision) are known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems (it's driver is usually RTCore64.sys). Please un-install them immediately!

rzpmgrk.sys looks to be to blame in the verifier enabled memory dump.
It's a driver associated with your Razer devices (Razer Overlay Support driver)
Please:
- download a fresh copy of the latest, Win8.1 compatible Razer drivers
- uninstall the current Razer drivers
- install the freshly downloaded Razer drivers
- monitor for further BSOD's

Thanks for your reply, I did install MSI Afterburner 2 days ago, Before that I was using GPUTweak, I will uninstall MSI Afterburner and use GPUTweak, Is GPUTweak okay to use? Ive heard alot of people have issues with it aswell as BSOD's its why I uninstalled it.

The Razer Synapse is the one Windows 8 downloaded automatically, Ill uninstall the drivers and Razer Synapse and reinstall it from the website and let it update the drivers itself. Ill let you know how I get on now.

Thanks.

I'm not a tweaker or overclocker - so I don't know about GPU Tweak.
I do know that I have seen numerous BSOD problems with MSI Afterburner

If you can't run your system without modifying the fan speed, then I'd have to wonder if there's a problem with the cooling system.

Drivers from Windows Update is a service that Microsoft provides to the device manufacturers. Microsoft doesn't warrant the drivers and provides them "as is". Should a problem occur with these drivers, it's up to the device manufacturer to fix them.
While they're usually safe to use in a stable system - when a system is having problems it's always wise to update from the device manfucturer's website in order to get the latest available version.

Good luck!

I can run it without modifying the fans, its just when im playing games like Arma 3 or Far Cry 4, It gets a little hot which is expected, so I turn up the fans a little, thats all.

Ive got GPU Tweak back now, its by ASUS.

Thanks again Usasma

Happened again when I was playing Far Cry 4 this morning, was only in high/ settings with terrain and enviroment on medium.

This time its Dxgkrnl.sys.

Also, Everytime I turn my PC on its going to a bluescreen saying it failed to start or something along the lines of that, winload.exe. Only noticed this after I updated my BIOS to the latest version.

I always need to select the hard drive to boot from manually then it works fine, its just annoying doing that everytime, if you know a solution to this also it would be great, ive tried selecting the boot options in the BIOS but they always seem to reset them selves.

Thanks.

It's my opinion that if you have to tweak your fans to get the system to run properly - then there's a problem with the cooling system. The system should be designed to run without any problems (within it's limitations) - so there shouldn't be a need to increase the cooling that way. The extra cooling could be masking a problem with the GPU (dxgkrnl.sys is related to your video)

Try running Far Cry 4 on lower settings and see if it takes longer for problems to occur.
If it does, then it's pretty sure it's a problem with the video (either heat/cooling or a problem with the card itself)

That being said, there are numerous different things to check with the cooling:
- the airflow to the cooler (is it free flowing and is it cooler outside air?)
- flow through the cooler (is it clogged w/dirt, dust, hair, etc?)
- is the cooler firmly attached to the CPU/GPU?
- is there sufficient thermal compound between the cooler and the CPU/GPU?
- is the fan for the cooler working properly?

Then run Prime95 (this'll test the CPU cooling) and FurMark (this'll test the GPU cooling)
The links for them are in this page of mine: Hardware Diagnostics
These are stress tests, so keep a sharp eye on the system to see if it starts overheating. If it does, shut it off immediately!

What Corsair programs are you running? There's no listing in the MSINFO32 report, and one of the Corsair drivers repeatedly shows up in the memory dumps.

Im using a Corsair headset, its a Corsair Vengeance 2100, theres a driver and a control panel for changing to 2.0 5.1 7.1, also adjusting the frequencys and such, there is no dust in the fans, I cleaned them all out about a week ago.

Ive done a few stress tests before, they all tend to run fine, Ill try and run it again and post the results for you, I did uninstall geforce driver and reinstall it from the website itself after the dxgkrnl.sys bluescreen, ill try Far Cry 4 again in low settings after I do a stress test with prime95.

Ill post back in 30~ minutes with the results of the benchmark.

Thanks.

Here are the results from Furmark and Prime95 tests.

http://i.imgur.com/XfO7Bug.png

I didn't know how to get the results from Prime95, so I downloaded Speccy and got the CPU Temperature instead after running Prime95 for around 5 minutes.

If that isnt long enough let me know and ill run another one for the time specified.

Ill try Far Cry 4 in low now for an hour, and see how it goes.

Thanks.

Prime95 has a results.txt file that has the test results. But as with any stress test, you look for:
- errors from the program (Prime95 will display errors in the box for each CPU instance)
- distortion/artifacting of the program's display (more so in GPU problems, but can occur in CPU issues)
- excessively high temps
- video/system problems
- programs crashing
- system crashing
- any other weird error/thing that doesn't occur normally

Although the GPU is running at 70ºC, the CPU is at 79ºC. Although the CPU temp is high, it's not high enough to make a definite diagnosis - you'd have to run Prime95 long enough to see if the temp goes up into the high 80's (near to 90ºC), or if it starts spitting out errors (the text of the error is something like "Fatal error....")
I like this free temp monitor (it'll record max temps also): HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

I'd suspect that it's a problem with your CPU overheating - so I'd check all of the things that I said to check on the GPU - just do it on the CPU now:
That being said, there are numerous different things to check with the cooling:
- the airflow to the cooler (is it free flowing and is it cooler outside air?)
- flow through the cooler (is it clogged w/dirt, dust, hair, etc?)
- is the cooler firmly attached to the CPU[DEL]/GPU[/DEL]?
- is there sufficient thermal compound between the cooler and the CPU[DEL]/GPU[/DEL]?
- is the fan for the cooler working properly?

Just FYI - stress tests just test certain parts of the hardware, not all of it. So it's possible to have a problem with hardware that still passes the stress tests.

You may also want to run the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool. Link is here: Hardware Diagnostics
It'll test different things than Prime95.

Played Far Cry 4 for 20 minutes just now, got a bluescreen. but this time the bluescreen didnt appear, it just put both my monitors black. then restarted after a few seconds, here is the log.

Average temperature for the CPU was 60-70c, GPU was 67-71c.

Also the results from the Intel Processor Diagnostic test.

Can you post a screen shot of the HWMonitor screen? It will also contain the Max Temp values.

Most BSOD's are actually solved by the original poster. But sometimes the analyst (me) is too stupid to listen :(
I was reading back over this topic and noted this:
Also when it bluescreens I have noticed it ALWAYS deletes my corsair vengeance sound profiles, I don't know if thats any useful information though.

Try removing the Corsair Vengeance headset from the system and then uninstalling it's software.
Test it for a while to see if the BSOD problem goes away (the driver for this is present in all of the memory dumps)!

This memory dump blames the file system on your hard drive.
Try running these free diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
Skip Furmark, Prime 95, and CPU tests as you've run them already - and start out with the hard drive diagnostics>

I downloaded HWMonitor, I think this is what you were looking for.

The first one is when my PC is idle, the 2nd is when I was on Far Cry 4 after 10~ minutes.

Ill do the Hard drive and Memory tests now.

http://i.imgur.com/23T83k6.png IDLE.

http://i.imgur.com/pG0Gmj8.png Far Cry 4.

I downloaded SeaTools for Windows, for my Seagate HD which is used for storage only, It passed the Long Generic test. S.M.A.R.T test and Short Drive Self Test.

I couldn't find a tool for my SanDisk SSD which I use for windows, I even checked the website, couldn't seem to find any, So I ran a Short Generic test, S.M.A.R.T test and Short Drive Self Test with SeaTools, the SSD also passed all, I don't think this tool is meant for SSD's though, I may be getting a new SSD soon anyways.

I don't think I can do the memtest as its not detecting my USB drive.

Ah, I didn't notice the post about checking my CPU, The air is fine, I have really good cable management, theres no wires blocking the air flow at all, The fan is working correctly, The only problem I can think of is thermal paste.

Just cleaned the CPU and fan and reapplied paste, was playing Far Cry 4 for 35~ minutes, CPU was 62c, And I bluescreened again, this time it was SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION win32k.sys

Please make sure that you run Prime95 - as it will also help to test your memory.

HotSpotShield showed up in this memory dump (taphss6.sys and hssdrv6.sys). Please uninstall it immediately as it's a known cause of BSOD's in some Windows systems.

The Corsair Vengeance stuff is also in this memory dump. Did you uninstall it as I suggested?
