    BSOD Waking from Sleep

    Hello everyone,

I get a BSOD when waking my Laptop out of sleep. I believe this doesn't happen on Win 8 with no updates applied. So I think it may be a Windows update or driver that is causing my BSODs. I do not believe its hardware related like a failing HDD. Though I could be wrong.

Ok I removed the driver (just disabled it with a .bak extension) and rebooted. Put PC in sleep mode. PC BSOD again but it did give me an an error message before BSOD. "Werfault.exe Hard Error" message. Then BSOD. I am going to perform an HDD check.

OK I ran a Disk check. I used HDDScan. Ran a Read and Verify Scan overnight. No errors reported. BSODs still occur.
