Keep getting BSOD on loop with HP logo "Preparting Automatic Repair" then restarts with BSOD Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area(ntfs.sys)
I did a HP Diagnostics for HDD and everything went fine, Next did a windows recovery with USB then BSOD popped up:think:
anyway to get to safe mode?

You are not able to get into the Safe Mode even using that method?
Are you able to boot into the system using a Windows Installation Media?

Also, please tell me the exact timing of the BSOD, like it appears after the HP screen, or when the Windows starts loading etc?

So I'll have to buy Windows 8 for fix ,_, would it clear my HDD?

Were you not using a legit copy of Windows 8? Yes, a fresh install in this case would clear your HDD.

You said you have a legit copy. Then, install it by using the product key that came with the computer. Check the bottom of the laptop to find it. Most laptops have a hidden recovery partition that you can access when booting up using a certain function key.

Of course it is. Just download a live OS like Puppy linux or something similar and use that to copy your data.
