Does the crash still occur just in that one game?

Kindly answer what softwaremaniac has asked. You could also stress test your GPU so that you could be certain if it is your GPU at fault or the game.

FurMark Video Stress Test - free from here: FurMark: VGA Stress Test, Graphics Card and GPU Stability Test, Burn-in Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net
    FurMark Setup:
    - If you have more than one GPU, select Multi-GPU during setup
    - In the Run mode box, select "Stability Test" and "Log GPU Temperature"
Click "Go" to start the test (Looks like it's "BURN-IN test" now)
    - Run the test until the GPU temperature maxes out - or until you start having problems (whichever comes first).
NOTE: Set the alarm to go off at 90บC. Then watch the system from that point on. If the system doesn't display a temperature, watch it constantly and turn it off at the first sign of video problems. DO NOT leave it it unmonitored, it can DAMAGE your video card!!!
If the temperature gets above 100บC, quit the test - the video card is overheating.
    - Click "Quit" to exit[/quote]
    What you are looking for:
    - excessive heat from the GPU (report back with anything over 90บC)
    - problems with the video display (picture is distorted or jumbled, picture turns black, etc)
    - problems reported by the program (I haven't seen this, but "just in case")

Let me know how it goes ^_^

@Softwaremaniac: So far the only thing that gets the driver to crash is that game.

I tried running the stress test but it never actually loads. Just stops responding before the test starts. I tried in fullscreen and windowed mode. There is a text file in the main directory called FurMark_0001 that shows some logs. However I don't think it's for my laptop because it's saying I'm running windows 7 with a gtx 660...

Edit: Forgot to mention that I tried in windows 8 and 7 compatibility mode with admin rights.

So I got a bluescreen after windows updated. There are about 16 updates that installed and I'm not sure which one caused it. It only bluescreened once, but the driver crashing has happened more when running google chrome.

Here is the minidump from that crash.

So it's consistently crashing on startup now. Any help would be appreciated. I'm running in safe mode right now.

I ran driver verifier because the last crash is most likely due to a driver issue. I think that's why I got DRIVER_VERIFIER_IOMANAGER_VIOLATION as the stop code for this one.

    Hi DJNads ^_^,

I have analysed your latest dump files and it seems that the Driver Verifier failed in flagging the Driver. I also do not see many drivers on your Dump file. The Dump file is giving me Device Object Not Found. This means that the Minidump file has not saved the data properly.
Kindly upload a ZIPPED copy of the complete memory dump found at "C:\Windows\Memory.DMP". Make sure that before uploading the Dump file, you ZIP it up.

Also, kindly run the Hardware Diagnostics over here and report back the result -

    Here is the memory dump.

I'll do the hardware diagnostics later tonight and report back

Edit: I've been busy the last couple of nights. I ran seagate's HDD tester and it failed the long generic test. bad sectors. Haven't run memtest yet though.
