    BSODs happening randomly

    Hello everyone,
I have experienced random lately random BSOD crashes on my PC.
Things I've done(please don't ask me to do this again):
    • Ran memtest86 for 9 passes - NO ERRORS, so RAM is fine.
    • Reinstalled Windows - so I suppose drivers aren't causing this.
    • Tested Video Card on other system - no crashes.

My guess: it may be either faulty Motherboard or PSU?
As I said these are irregular BSODs. Once, twice a day. Some days I don't get any crashes.

    Please help!

    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

This device needs drivers to be installed:
PCI Simple Communications Controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8C3A&SUBSYS_78501462&REV_04\3&11583659&0&B0 The drivers for this device are not installed.
Please visit the PC/Motherboard manufacturers website to download/install the chipset drivers.

Out of 10 memory dumps there were 7 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
    - borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
    - BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
    - overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
    - dirt/dust/hair/fur/crud inside the case. Blow out the case/vents with canned air (DO NOT use an air compressor or vacuum as they can cause damage to the system)
    - missing Windows Updates
    - compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers), older systems, or even pirated systems
    - low-level driver problems
    - or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

Please get a head start on the hardware diagnostics - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics
It's OK to skip the Memtest as you've already run it.

Please remove your Western Digital software as the wdcsam64.sys driver dates from 2008 and is known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.

There are enough signs here that I have to wonder about this installation. Should this be a pirated copy of Windows, please be aware that we may not be able to fix it (as the hacks that were done to activate it will cause the OS to behave differently than we expect it to). If that's the case, our efforts to help may just waste your time. Secondly, the forum rules prohibit assisting with pirated software - so the topic would be closed if that is the case.

Please provide the MGADiag report according to these instructions (from this post: Product Key Number - Uninstall and Deactivate in Windows - Page 3 - Windows 7 Help Forums ):
To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.

BSODs happening randomly

Hello! My PC has been getting BSODs quite regularly for the last few weeks and I can't figure out what's causing it. Originally I was seeing WHEA logger errors in eventviewer just before the BSOD occured, so I upped the voltage on my CPU. The errors are gone but the BSODs remain. I should mention I...
Solved BSOD Win 8.1 happening very often now in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
I seem to be getting more and more BSOD lately. I've tried memtest+ and left it running for about 12 passes and more than a day with no problems. I've run windows own memory test. I've checked cables are tight and parts are secure in the mb. I'm at my wits end trying to track this down. I've...

Hi there, I've got a small BSOD problem with my Win8.1 x64 installation. An hour ago my computer crashed while I wasnt near it (it only heard the restart peep). The last time it crashed I was able to note the error message, which stated: After googeling a bit I found out, that the BSOD...
Hello! For the past couple months, I have been getting random blue screens, error being whea_uncorrectable_error. Various google searches yield no results because apparently this error is a general error that gets displayed. The blue screen seems to occur randomly. For the occurrence today, I...
Hi! I upgraded my computer back in November and have spent the past months trying to fix random BSOD's through driver updates and, lately, slow RMA's of hardware. I have been troubleshooting on SevenForums (old thread) since I had Windows 7 but decided to get $20 Windows 8 upgrade, so I'm here now!...
BSODs mostly when browsing with Chrome, since that is what I do mostly, this time when trying to work out what touchpad gestures I could use consistently, since the touchpad seems to have a mind of its own sometimes. HP Compaq Presario CQ57 (AMD E-300 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 1.30 GHz)...
